Having had a bad experience with my Raptor and dumping it, I'm hoping Ford does a late add giving us the Tremor package. That with a 2.7 in an XLT might just be the ticket.

Here's hoping!!

I’m hoping for the same. Huge gap in the lineup between FX4 and Ranger Raptor. The Tremor would be the perfect middle of the road between the two. As much as I love the Ranger Raptor, it’s just more truck than I need and a little too thirsty. I like the idea of more off-road chops (with factory lift) more power with the 2.7 without risking a voided warranty with mods. Now while I’m dreaming make it a SuperCrew with a 6’ bed and there would be my perfect truck.

Isn't the Tremor an Aussie only trim right now? I haven't been able to build one on the US site.

No issues so far with my Raptor. But had a 2021 Tremor prior to this that was rock solid. I too would be interested as the 2.7l is less thirsty and the Tremor would likely be a better everyday truck. Don't see it coming out until 26 or later, however, if it ever does.

My 2.7 in my bronco averages only about 0.5-1 mpg more than my Raptor on a good day with no wind. On my trip to Moab in my Bronco I got almost 21mpg but that was with zero wind and no heavy stop and go traffic. So with the 2.7 you’re not really gaining much at all with MPG. I’m getting about 19 right now in my Raptor. You don’t buy Ford Trucks or off-road vehicles for MPG. When your off-roading in 4 low the MPG drops even more and averages the same as my Bronco.

I could see Ford releasing a Tremor but the price of the Raptor will definitely go up. Tremor pricing could be in line what the Raptor price is now.

Only available over seas. It's coming for sure. It's now a Ford name plate. Just a matter of when. Still hoping for 2025 but I think for sure 2026.

What does a Tremor offer that an owner can't add himself?

good question..the Texas Truck Channel guys already took a 5G ranger's tremor fox shocks and added them to their 6G XLT FX4 without any modifications needed. General Grabbers are already available from the factory with the tire option upgrade, terrain management is standard with fx4. all the other features from the 5g tremor were just cosmetic after those.

If there is a market for yet another off road trim, then I'm sure Ford will offer a Tremor in the near future. I wish Ford would go back to offering a street focused trim level. The new Maverick Lobo offers us some hope. Take the engine, interior, 4A setting, coil spring rear suspension and live valve shocks from the Raptor and offer it in a slightly lowered truck that maintains (at the very least) the payload and towing capacity of the Raptor. All of this could be done with very little development money from Ford. Ideally they would go all in and offer it with the Tremec transmission from the Dark Horse. Call it the Ranger ST and take my money.

Honesty it's funny to me that the Tremor became an off road package- I don't know if anyone remembers the 1 year only F150 Tremor.

I had one, It was 2014- 2 Door Truck with a FX or FX4 Package, 3.5 with 4:10's, Was a fun sporty little truck- I wish Ford would still offer a 2 Door you could get leather seats and some other bells and whistles in.

Granted it was literally a parts bin truck while Ford retooled for the new F150 Generation but still,

I agree it would be really cool to see a street focus on some Trims.

I liked my 2021 Lariat Tremor. If it was available for 2024, I likely would have gone with that again. There is a big difference between suspensions on the Tremor vs my new FX4. The Fox shocks sure smoothed things out and really soaked up the bumps at speed. Don’t forget the 5G Tremor also had a rear multi-leaf spring.

I already added General Grabbers to my new truck. And will do something to the suspension in the spring time (see who offers a good kit at a reasonable price). And then add some form of aux switches & lighting. Then I’ll have a ā€œtremorā€ again.
