22,000. Love it, only issue is the front level sensor broke at the arm, not sure I blame that on ford.

I wonder if it might be due to all the problems you see cropping up within this forum. Virtually very day somebody is having issues with something (usually electrical related), with their Raptor or Ranger. "This quit working, that stopped all of a sudden", whatever. Seems Ford's engineering and quality control is not at the top of their list for producing fabulous vehicles. I remember once they put out an advertisement on TV that said "Now with the same quality as Toyota"... that ad was pulled within a week or 2 and never seen again. Go figure...

When I was at the Raptor school 4 of the Rangers threw check engine lights including the one I was driving. Too many computer glitches. We stopped the truck and the driver instructor had us turn off vehicle and open and close door 3 times. Fixed check engine light. You think Ford would address the problems with the computer glitches with over the air updates. I’m a little worried about driving my truck long term.

We need to take a moment to understand the nature of forums: the vast majority of discussions are by minorities of the larger market population (in this case, Ranger owners). Most owners don't seek forums to say, "My truck ran just fine today", but folks with problems are very likely to look for outlets to share their experiences, whether just to vent, seek answers or workarounds, or to bash the manufacturer/dealer, etc.

As for advertising that ford's quality is the same as toyota, well, the new tundras and tacomas have had a lot more problems, and very serious problems at that, than the rangers have so ford would be idiotic to say, "We're just like them!".

19,000 trouble free miles on mine so far. After driving F150's for the last 30 years it was a bit of an adjustment going to a mid size truck. But in some ways it's even better than a full size truck.

LOL... that quote from Ford ad came out decades ago, back when ford was struggling for equality I'm thinking.
Agreed on the new Tacomas and Tundras, wonder if related to that gimmicky electric motor they tacked onto the trans, to try and negate turbo lag and add extra ponies as well?

"Buyer's remorse"... I think you're right. It looks like he just bought it in May of this year, and posted this in the thread he started just after buying it:

"I wanted to buy a different sort of vehicle entirely, but the dealerships for those in which I was interested were all two hours away, with no local service available. I've got plenty of Ford dealers here, though.

The Raptor wasn't initially on my list of vehicles to purchase. It was a spur of the moment decision. "

I guess the spur of the moment decision didn't translate to long-term satisfaction.
I have no buyer's remorse beyond the faults.

The vehicle itself is awesome. Visibility isn't great, but I can get used to that.

Make no mistake, I like the vehicle. Living with another pickup was going to be a bit tough for a while, but with that rear seat delete hitting the market so fast that wasn't going to be a problem.

I had fun using the bed the few times I've had to, as well. Bit of a climb, but nothing untoward.

If I've still got it this Christmas, I'll be looking forward to carrying the tree.

It's gorgeous, it's triple-locked, it's fast, it's comfortable, it doesn't get super hot inside, the glass and visors do wonders for my extremely sensitive eyes, and I like the concept of adjustable drive modes.

It just doesn't work properly, and it's been one hiccup after another since within a week of buying it.

I have 8K miles on my 24 with no problems. My only complaint is the apple car play interface with my IPhone. It’s finicky sometimes. We just became a second RR family, the wife has an azure gray 25 with the base rims and minus the side decals.

I've been on forums for every vehicle I've owned in the past 20 years and there are always some people complaining that the vehicles are junk and they have a plethora of problems.

You have to filter most of that stuff out and realize that complainers gonna complain and there are ALWAYS complainers in every forum and often the people that actually cause the problems they report usually don't confess it's their fault.

I've never had even one actual problem with a Toyota or Ford I've ever owned and I've put hundreds of thousands of miles on them. Simply put, I take the majority of complaints with the grain of salt.

Gotta be something odd going on at your location. On Autotrader, within 75 miles of me there's 23 new listings and 2 used.

30k miles on mine. No major issues, a handful of dumb software related things. I bought a 175k mile warranty and plan to keep the truck at least that long.
