What appeared to be a rather sizeable wheel chock came off the back of a tow truck and then was kicked right into my path by a vehicle several lanes over. Was doing about 70 when I saw the situation starting, but because the thing was several lanes over, probably hadn't slowed to under 60 when it hit. Any suggestions on what will take off the "scar"?

Raptor 2K black spray can liner. Looks good on the silver mustache too!

Did you look around under the truck to see if there is any more damage? That could easily have damaged stuff like wiring harnesses, one of the plastic skid plates, or a driveshaft. Does the truck drive normally after the hit?

More importantly, did you go back and retrieve the chock? Extra ones are always handy….

My son and I crawled around a bit underneath to see that it appeared to hit nothing else of consequence, or should I say, it didn't damage anything else of consequence. It appeared that it also caught the rear driveshaft/u-joint/diff area as there were seemingly okay scuff marks but nothing like the contact to the front skid plate, luckily.

Didn't think to go back. Shame, could have mounted it with a pic like the one above or screen printed both on a "road debris survivor" t-shirt.

If it’s just a rubber mark, I would try a Magic Eraser.(made by Mr. Clean)
I am embarrassed I didn't think of that as I have used the magic eraser on about a million other things already.

I'm going to leave the "scar" and embellish the story a bit to include heroically navigating a violent protest crowd.
