Not sure yet. Once we get them ready for production we'll get weights and everything for the product page. They're 3mm aluminum, so much lighter than wood or plastic for the provided strength.

These are pretty close to production, but I think I am going to make a change to the drawer to make it easier to install. The slide is probably production-worthy.

Thanks!

What is the max height of a fridge that Will fit on the bed slide and still clear a tonneau cover? That would be a major factor for me. I currently have a diy bed slide I made but it is super heavy and it barely clears my tonneau cover. Also, when are the bed slides going to be available for purchase? Looking forward to it if the price is right!

Definitely wait for an official answer, but I did a bit of research on this, and based on the fridge they're using on the prototypes it would be around 17-18 inches tall. Of course this may vary depending on your specific Tonneau Cover.

Unfortunately, I would need to know how far your tonneau hangs down below the bedside to answer that question.

@Aemonn is right. The fridge we're using is 17" tall (ARB Zero 38), but our tonneau is very thin. So, to give you an accurate answer, we'll need some more information.

I have an access Larado cover that is flush with the top of the bed rails maybe 1/8 inch lower at most. My fridge is an Iceco that is just over 19 inches tall.

To clarify when I said bed rails I meant bed sides.

@PatrickT

It was really hard to get this photo, so I'm surprised it came out as good as it did. It looks to be about 19.25" above the floor of the slide to the top of the bed side. I tried to get the phone as level as I could with the opposite bed side, but every time I did, the phone kept switching lenses and then it was too low. 🤣

Great. Glad to help! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Also, I just noticed I typed 19.5 in the previous reply. It's actually 19.25. I missed the two, which does make a difference. I just wanted to let you know about the typo.

Thanks for the clarification. That does make a difference. It still may work with a little bit of flex in the cover and opening the cover at the very back. That’s what I have to do now. The fridge is 19.3 inches tall.

Gotcha. This is as low as we can make the slide. It's very close to the tailgate when the slide opens. That's our limiting factor - the tailgate is actually higher than the bed floor when opened.

Will the slides have a locking mechanism to prevent them from banging into the front stops and tailgate while driving?
