Not sure yet. Once we get them ready for production we'll get weights and everything for the product page. They're 3mm aluminum, so much lighter than wood or plastic for the provided strength. What's the weight on those? Looking amazing! Super excited!
Definitely wait for an official answer, but I did a bit of research on this, and based on the fridge they're using on the prototypes it would be around 17-18 inches tall. Of course this may vary depending on your specific Tonneau Cover. What is the max height of a fridge that Will fit on the bed slide and still clear a tonneau cover? That would be a major factor for me. I currently have a diy bed slide I made but it is super heavy and it barely clears my tonneau cover. Also, when are the bed slides going to be available for purchase? Looking forward to it if the price is right!
Unfortunately, I would need to know how far your tonneau hangs down below the bedside to answer that question. What is the max height of a fridge that Will fit on the bed slide and still clear a tonneau cover? Great. Glad to help! Please let me know if you have any other questions.Perfect! Thanks for checking. That should work.
Gotcha. This is as low as we can make the slide. It's very close to the tailgate when the slide opens. That's our limiting factor - the tailgate is actually higher than the bed floor when opened. Thanks for the clarification. That does make a difference. It still may work with a little bit of flex in the cover and opening the cover at the very back. That’s what I have to do now. The fridge is 19.3 inches tall.
The slides lock in and out and are lifetime warranty! Will the slides have a locking mechanism to prevent them from banging into the front stops and tailgate while driving?
