I couldn’t find anything that was hub centric that I really liked. I wanted an something similar to an oem replacement. So I had 6061 aluminum forged wheels made that are the hub centric to my liking

These wheels are custom made overseas.
I have a friend who worked with the designer and came back with renderings until it was something I liked.

Did you do the "Alibaba Method"?

And is you Raptor decal matte black/matte black from Rocky Mountain Graphics? I have the same color and I had the white in the decal.

How has your experience with the Falken's been? It seems everyone on YouTube thinks the AT3W was a better tire. At least in the snow. I'm guessing your experience is different. Have you had a chance to run them in inclement weather yet? How have they been for your trucks?

Here's my experience if you'd like to hear. I don't have a raptor, but I put 275/70/R17 wildpeaks on mine and they're stiff as hell. And loud. I was convinced by people online that they would be quieter and more comfortable than stock. Absolutely not true. It's almost to the point I'm regretting getting them over the KO3s (not that I have any clue they would he any better).

I can't speak on wet reaction, and I got them after all the snow melted here, but try traction is good. Handling is really nice too. But if you do want quiet and comfortable I don't feel like these fit in that category.

Yes, I have several trucks with the At3Ws and several now with At4Ws.
Yes, I have had them both in snow, we had a significant amount of snow last month and drove the AT4Ws every day in it.

Not really seeing much difference in them, both are performing really well.
Quiet for an AT tire and both have a comfortable ride.

I definitely appreciate your insight. There are a LOT of tire options and I keep circling lol

I am a surprised with this, I don't think I have ever seen anyone coment on Falken At3w or At4W being loud. Stiff can be a lot of things going going from a 4ply to 6ply , 8ply, 10ply ,12 ply would all play factor there. If a tire show installs them at max PSI compared to the 30-36 psi spec on the 4 ply tires the truck came with, would also cause some ride quality issues, especially on lighter weight trucks.

That tire size is showing to be a 6 ply with a max PSI of 50.
An XLT would have come with a smaller 4 ply all season.
I am not surprised it is little louder than an all-season tire.
6 ply vs 4 ply and depending on the pressure could also be playing some factor into the ride comparison as well.

Same size similar spec BFG Ko3 vs AT4w the At4w is smoother and quieter.
That is a P285/70R17 size. I have compared them 3 different times now back-to-back.

I've had them for about 2 weeks now and I immediately was having balancing issues that I still haven't resolved yet. So it's possible I got a bad set of tires but I find it hard to believe all or even more than one are defective.

I noticed the ride quality immediately. And after putting my factory wheels and tires back on to test something it's night and day. I was surprised with the noise and ride quality after reading so many good reviews on these tires. And even Tire Rack has them listed as the #2 tires in their category, right under the KO3s. But as I said real life experience from others online seemed to put the Wildpeaks over the KO3s.

Are your custom wheels hub centric, if not you might be able to get some hub centric rings for them. That can easily cause some balance issues.

I appreciate your thoughts on these. I would frankly be surprised if the Falkens are any more noisy than the KO3s

I have hub rings installed. So far nobody has said that those are the issue yet. Hopefully it's not.

Yea, if you have Hub Centric Rings on them, that should have negated that concern.
Pretty much these days I put Falken At3W or now days AtWs on pretty much all of my personal and buisness fleet trucks the pickup trucks anyway.
Never had a defective one yet.

I would say something else must have gone wrong in the tire shops balancing process.

What sort of tire shop was it. Mom and pop shop, or big chain like discount tire.
Ie. Discount tire leases some of the latested greatest best equipment in the industry and it gets serviced and calibrated on routine bases.

Where maybe a small shop with an older machine might not keep up with their equipment maintained like they probably should. Balance machines need to be calibrated on regular bases.
Least wise that what I have been told over the years.

Just a thing that are coming to mind, that I have seen play a factor over the years.

On average I am replacing around 8-12 tires pretty much every month.
I have never seen a set of tires where all of them were bad.

I did have a set of Goodyear wranglers back around 15 years ago where 2 of the 4 were taking so much weight to get them to balance that the owner of the tire shop insisted on ordering in 2 more and making Goodyear warranty them.
