Mirror assembly - 2026s don’t have side mirror turn indicators

True, and I really appreciated that feature up until winter hit, the mirrors froze in the retracted position and it took a half hour of warm up and driving before they reluctantly unfolded. Turned the auto fold feature off after that. Now I just hit the remote lock and see the flash.

Welp thats no longer a option on 26 models since they removed the Blinkers ahah

I had a 2014 XL F150 for a work truck, the dual glass tow mirrors were ported to a vent on the side of the dash, just a little foam gasket when the door was closed. Windshield defrost = side mirror defrost.

It also had crank windows. I don't miss that truck

pop the small triangle shapped cover off the door inside behind the mirror. look at your truck side plug, then look in my thread and see if the wiring diagram matchs. my 25 xlt was prewired to the mirror plug on the truck for heat, turn, puddle. was already power fold and bliss. no camera. if I want the 301a package xlt mirrors(heat, turn, puddle, bliss, power fold no camera) its 1400 for one side, and 1600 for the other side. I ordered the heated glass, and ran my own wires to the glass, and added wires for turns and puddle.

unless you add after market turns like say 3/4" button lights, there is no way to add the orm turns, as the housings are different. but if truck is pre wired still you can add your own, then enable them in forscan in each door module. also gunna get a set of amazon puddle lights and cut the hole for them in the bottom. thats what I plan on doing untill I either find a set of junkyard xlt 301a mirrors or buy the clearview towing mirrors.

I finally got my hands on my new RR and pulled the mirror cap off. It seem the mirrors are Pre-wired for the turn signal (pin 10, stole your picture).

This makes me believe that all I would potentially require now is the lower exterior mirror cover, turn indicators, wiring in lower cover of indicator, light for indicator (assuming it’s not in the assembly). Then to Forescan to have the blinkers activate.

You have to get the whole assembly. The only parts sepperate are the ones here, not on the main assembly. but a set of 24/25 lariat/RR mirrors will bolt right on. then go in the driver and passenger door modules to enable the turns.

I still have zone lighting and puddle lights, power fold, and heated. For the price of the truck, I feel it's missing auto-dimming and the turn blinker.

So after install does anyone know where on forscan they get enabled? Also wondering if the ROW mirrors have the heater or if it will have to be swapped over.

Well.... that is the empty space where the non North American rear HVAC vents are. That is already a deletion.

If Ford keeps decontenting the way they are going you will be lucky to get an engine and wheels. Its a shame they are really screwing with their customers, charge more, get less, and built like crap (Especially fit/finish). Unfortunately it has turned into the American way.

Personally I feel Ford has lost their way and with this strategy, it will come back to bite them at some point. However, these car manufactures operate on a strategy that they are to big to fail. They all know if they mess up too bad, the government (AKA tax payer) will bail them out.

24 has +12V in the bed, the lariat trims have active park assist and electronic shifter which goes into park automatically as does the raptor

25 only the raptor has the eshifter (auto park?) and only AC in the bed but still has the turn signals on the mirror with the right trim or options

for a small fee you cn get the +12V outlet in the bed as the wiring is there for it in the 25, likely the 26 too?

The lariat for 2026 seem to have the most decontent, headlights, side mirror turn signals.

The 2026 XL get the FX4 option which is sort of nice but you have to get the steel wheels it seems but not so bad if you want to get new rims and tires anyway

Thanks for the info! I should have mentioned that I'm looking at/for RRs. New or used - but Chat didn't say they were any differences.
