The KO2s were awful too. Had a few sets, came on my F350 for example. Just poor traction especially in the wet.IIRC, people complained that the KO2 would wear too fast. So BFG came out with KO3 that has a harder rubber compound. Now people are complaining about poor road traction.
Interesting...!For me it took more than 2-3k km to have good traction on KO3
Needs about a 6" lift, a winch and light bar capable front bumper, and some rock rails...If your going to drive your Ranger Raptor like a track truck....

I’ve read the same from many who have run them long term, while I’ve only had a set of original KO’s in a 37, I prefer to stick to Toyo, Nitto or Mickey for the future. For me it took more than 2-3k km to have good traction on KO3
ive heard similar over on the gladiator forums with the ko3’s. They need to break in and they soften up to some degree.Interesting...!
Thanks for your input my friend.
I shall see if traction improves with wear.
I only have 97 miles...
That is 156 km for my Metric friends.
Or it is 170720 yards for my football friends.
Or it is 84 Nautical Miles for my Naval friends.
Or it is 1536480 hands for my equestrian friends.
Or it is 85360 fathoms for my deep-sea diving friends.
Or it is 1561063680000010 angstroms for my metallurgical SEM operating friends.
There’s only so much an off-road tyre can do with 400hp going to the rear wheels and no weight over the rear wheelsIt's the KO3s. Awful things.
People love to complain about literally anything!IIRC, people complained that the KO2 would wear too fast. So BFG came out with KO3 that has a harder rubber compound. Now people are complaining about poor road traction.
Yup, if you wanted a grippy truck. The Lariat with street tires would've have sufficed. THis is an off raod truck for all terrian and specialized in non but does damn well off road. There’s only so much an off-road tyre can do with 400hp going to the rear wheels and no weight over the rear wheels
You have some weird friends.Interesting...!
