Seriously!! They could literally call this a "Fix Or Repair Daily" accessory pack. Essential and beloved by truck enthusiasts across the world whose trucks are out of warranty!!

Yup yup, digging up an old thread to see anyone has purchased one of these Ford tool kits.

For my Jeep TJ and BMW G650GS I purchased some vehicle specific tool rolls to carry on road trips and usually use them when doing maintenance since they have everything I need specific to that vehicle. And for my Forester and wife's CRV I have a Harbor Freight tool bag with a decent selection of metric sockets & wrenches, screw drivers, and a few other items that I toss in for road trips.

Not sure if I'm being paranoid or not with looking into this for a new vehicle, but I have always been more comfortable with having tools and certain parts with me (usually belts, fuses, bulbs). Since I'll be doing about 3k miles for Raptor Valley 3 in October, I'm considering getting this. I have been happy with the other vehicle specific tool kits I have purchased since I know I'm hauling specific tools to the vehicle and not a lot of extras.

Or has anyone out there put together a list of tools for the Rangers that would cover most basic roadside fixes?

I had a a jeep kit as well for my 1997 wrangler.I needed tools to take off the hard top , fold the windshield etc. For the Ranger all I bought was the torx screwdriver for the air fliter box on my 2.3L engine. "Fix Or Repair Daily "kit is awesome

I asked my dealer to see if they can order it, and they said it is out of stock and on back order lol. I’ll see how long they can deliver that to the dealership.

It has bean very useful. I have tried several kits with hard plastic cases, but they do not hold up as well. This one is not available, but it gives you an idea of what can be used as a starter kit.

For my 25 RR, I actually ordered one direct from ford jul 2026, said would ship in 2-3 days, nothing came for weeks
After calls and support case said wouldnt be avail till end of aug if at all
Requested refund, took another few days
Also contacted levitown and after a few days, also said out of stock, but nothing else
Funny enough, i recently found and ordered an older model , used version on ebay
seller only had pic of wrap unfolded w paper instr, why do sellers often leave out critical info, grrr
didnt spend time having back and forth asking for pics
haven't gotten it yet

AH, bummer that your original order didn't come through. And yeah, sellers on eBay and other platforms are pretty worthless at times. I bought a factory insta-trunk for my Jeep TJ off of Craigslist, and the guy couldn''t answer a couple simple questions such as did it have all the hardware and so on.... As soon as I got to his place I understood why, he was pretty much just a junk reseller that was probably getting stuff for free and turning around and selling it cheap. Although I give him credit for having a well organized garage full of inventory!

Thanks for that link to eBay since there was a picture with a list of what's in the roll! That will be helpful should I need to put together something on my own. I did reach out to Red Dog Tools since I have a kit from them for my Jeep that I take on trips and use for maintenance and repairs, very seldom have to go to my regular tool stash. They have a kit posted for the Bronco, but waiting to hear back what years and motor they built it for.

My 2024 Ford Ranger (Raptor) specific sockets/box wrenches (spanners if you’re from AUS):
7mm for inner fender liner and factory hose clamps
8mm for crosspipe mount from airbox to driver side turbo
10mm because it’s always a 10mm
15mm for front bashguard/skidplate bolts
18mm for crashbar bolts (correct me if I’m wrong, I haven’t had to take mine off yet but pretty sure that’s the size)
26 or 27mm for oil filter cap
Fuggin pipe wrench for spray in bed liner tie-down bolts (not a daily carry item)
Phillips head for plastic BS rivscrews or whatever they go by for inner fender
liners
Red handle trim removal tool for… trim
