A little bit... it's far less course than the bed liner, which I was concerned would damage some of the things I carry (pinball machines) but didn't want the smooth painted bed. I'd say it's typical rubber mat grippy and should be great for tool/tackle boxes and the like of sufficient weight.
Im a pinhead too. Any tips for getting them in the bed without sticking to the bedliner?

Installed front mud flaps . I decided to try the ones from Ford. I think they look good and hopefully keep the mud off the side of the truck.
I used AIG front mud flaps on my Bronco, these were easier to install.

The mudflaps cover the gap between the flares and the running board. Huge difference.
Crap blows through that hole though. I used these -

those step inserts look to be a pretty close match to the factory finish. Do you have a link to the seller you purchased from?

Small update on the front light bar bracket I'm making. First pic is just the brackets with a 3" pod sitting on it. Second is using a piece of 20 series extrusion I had as a temporary bar. I'm going to get a piece of 1503 to cut down for the actual mounting bar.

Do you know why the "R" is on a different spot on yours vs. what is shown in the link? I assume you ordered red for the "R" (not orange)?
Hard to say.
Might not even be the exact same seller, my bank statement just says Etsy. But my seller had both the insert and the R for the grille, which I bought also but decided not to use, and the listing seemed awful familiar, so I figured that must be the same one.

Very basic off-road setup for this trip:

1. JB customs tow hook dune flag mount that got here 1 day before I left and had to have them ship unpainted to get it in time, so I did a rattle can paint job short term and will eventually get powder coated down later, but im actually diggin' the OD flat color! Got the Handy Flag stowable flag whip / flag which is stowed under the rear seat.

2. 1/2in drive 18in breaker bar, 1/2in drive click torque wrench and 21mm socket in case I need to change a tire. My spare is also a Method 705 since they are ET35, so its all same offset for full functionality and correct geometry. Stored under the seat, I used some of the extra foam from home depot to wrap them in to prevent rattle / keep them stowed.

3. ARB 17.5k snatched strap (30ft), 14.5k soft shackle and a 4.75T bow shackle for recovery, stored under the rear seat.

4. Got my Ltrack strips in if I need to strap anything into the bed (may move the spare into the bed before going to dunes).

5. Got my Method 705s at the start of this year for their balance of weight (only 25.2lbs per wheel), mild +35mm offset to maintain full tire clearances and their bead grip capability for aired down offroading. Plus I liked this spoke pattern which I think matches the boxy body style well. Also love how easy they clean off when dirty compared to the OEM beadlocks it originally came with.

6. Wood block I screwed together cross grain two pieces of pressure treated 2x12 from home depot as a platform for the OE scissor jack since im in sand, that way the jack base wont sink down just in case (not likely but why not be efficient and make use of whats already in the truck?). OE jack may bot be as quick as a hydraulic unit, but its lightweight and will get the job done on the rare occasion it happens.

7. Not specifically for dunes, but I keep a Japanese double edge folded steel hand saw for removing small branches or trees from trails if they are blocking the way. Can always drag them with tow strap too. Also have a SAWYER water filter for emergency in case of breakdown in remote areas, some blankets and a foil blanket. Toilet paper I folded and put in a zip lock bag for the wife / kids...when you gotta go you gotta go! Also carry a fire blanket just in case. Plan to mount a small extinguisher under the front seat next year but fire blanket is more for help a person in emergency than saving the truck. Still gotta get my first aid kit set up for the truck too.

8. The Ford Perforamce cal tool is in my glove box with OBDII cord with both stock calibration and FP cal. So if I cant find 91 or higher can always flash back to stock. Also if I get DTCs at least I can read / clear / diagnose if needed. Its another valuable tool in the toolbox!

Set up and adjusted the Yakima rack for the Ranger with the family boat and solo boat in prep for our next camping trip. Takes a little while to get it adjusted on another vehicle the first time. Same towers as the Maverick, just different clips.

A bit disappointed my handy flag wasn't quite tall enough to meet dune height, but for $50 I bought one made locally there with 1/2 whip, over a foot taller and definitely liking the stiffer whip:

This was right before I went up test hill at Silver Lake today. Only took 5 min to swap out the whip / flag, that sucker is up 11 feet, but i get why, visibility matters with offroad vehicles all over the hills and no visibility over them. Nice to support local business too.

Also lowered tire pressure to 15 psi, but i may go to 12 tomorrow, especially with the bead grip 705s. On stock KO3s with 27k miles on them and they did just fine. HP wins on test hill and the RRs 455 hp made the climb easy.

I know nothing about off-roading. Is the purpose of that flag a safety thing so people can know you will be coming over the top of the hill?
