Amber Lights for top of Ranger Raptor grille?

The Gen 2 Raptor grille light is 2 &1/4 inches in length and a 1/2 inch in width and height.

We can confirm other customers who have ordered the Raptor Grille Lights for their 2024 Raptor Ranger have had no issues. It is compatible.

I did the same thing before I bought them. I even sent them pictures of the opening showing the taper in the opening. They responded with the exact same message including the same dimensions. So, not 100% sure, but pretty sure they did not modify the lights to fit the 24 RR. If you measure the opening, you will see that that the front will accommodate the lights but unless you're willing to do more trimming on the back side of each opening, they will likely stick out like mine do. As mentioned in some of my previous posts, I am okay with them sticking out, I don't love it, but stepping back from the grille, they look fine.

Also, their answer is most likely based on the fact that people like me, who bought their lights, did not return them but made them fit. The plug is pretty big and does require a decent size hole to be drilled out in the back of each opening. You could make the hole smaller by cutting the cable on each light then re-connecting the wires, but I found that unnecessary since small hole, big hole is still a hole and the lights are good quality and leaving them intact, no cutting, is the best option. So big hole is the way to go. There is a lot a wire for each light, so I bundled it all together with zip ties and tucked it under the plastic shroud that covers the front of the engine bay.

Hope this helps in everyone's decision to buy or not to buy.

I don't think these are new or custom to the RR grille. They state they are for 2024-25 Rangers from XL to Platinum trim and are Ranger Raptor Style lights. The pictures are on a standard Ranger grille and the video on the page just talks about the Gen3 features with a Super Duty in the background.

Additionally, the Gen3 lights for the full size trucks are also sold out with the same message that they will be available on 8-26.

Yeah, they might be more for the non-raptor trims. They look a bit different than the raptor specific so it will require someone test fitting on a raptor. I'm tempted...

I shared this with them (partially to see if they cared) and asked if they would be producing a RR specific kit that fit the locations better, and this was their response. It was sort of a nothing burger lol.

If the light is 1/2" tall it probably won't slide all the way into the pocket of the grill and fit flush. The front of the pocket is about 1/2" tall but it tapers down towards the rear of the pocket.

Got word from F150 LEDs that the new gen 3 Ranger grill lights for the non Raptor grill, is the same as the F150 grill lights others on here, myself included have installed on our Ranger Raptors.

‘The fit is not exactly ideal. They are said to still working on or planning to come out with a custom fit Ranger Raptor grill light kit.

So if looking for the perfect fit light kit for a Ranger Raptor, it’s not out yet. I am not sure , but I get the feeling it’s not that far along in the process. So it might be a wile.

Removed the cover over the grill under the hood, drilled small holes in the grill. Powered them thru the break controller in the fuse box, number 50 I believe.

I have mine but are amber color. They do fit pretty flush with the grille, but not exactly the same in all cavities, you need to make sure to place them so they look as similar as possible. Mine were connected according to the instructions of the seller, and work as running lights. you cannot see them much while off, because the lenses are smoked.

IT's important to be clear about the lights you have installed in this post. I believe that the prior post from Ivan Baez is with the ebay version of the amber raptor lights. The line in the middle of the light tells me it's not the lights from F150leds.

I purchased the lights from F150leds and quickly returned them because they stuck out way too much for my liking and I didn't want to test how deep I could shave them down without destroying their integrity or seal for water protection. They were very good about refunding what I originally paid, but I had to pay for the return shipping.

There's a bit of curvature to the grill and the outside lights hung out over the bottom lip of the grill. The center light was about even with the bottom of the lip, of course that means that the top lip was sitting way back from the top of the light.

I wondered if there's enough demand from the 2024 owners to justify a US company to develop lights specifically for the Ranger Raptor grille yet, so I went with the ebay version for now and will wait it out for a better product.
