Automatic Car Wash destroyed my front bumper and I had to make a new one. Best decision of my life

I put a stubby antenna on and go thru a tunnel wash at least once a day. I use the truck as my business vehicle so it must be clean at all times.

Not really. The car wash chemicals are alkaline (usually) to help cut through the built up crap on your paint with minimal contact. Alkaline and acid will strip through ceramic (Si02 or Ti02) eventually. Ceramic coatings will also get micro-scratches/hazing in them from the touch car washes. Ceramic def helps, but isn't a long term assist. Highly recommend you apply a ceramic based detailer or finish spray (also called a reloader, etc) occasionally, especially on the horizontal surfaces. That helps a lot with the service life of the coatings.

I use every type of professional carwash regularly. No issues at all. I did not have any issues with my antenna either, but I did go to the Stubby antenna recently (just because I wanted too. LOL).

Has PPF put on the front, hood, both front fenders and small PPF strip on my rear fenders. I then had the whole truck ceramic coated. It is easier to keep clean so now I had wash my RR.

We have a real nice touch less automatic car wash in town. I usually go after church on Sunday morning. Cost is $8.00, no problems at all with antenna or mirrors.

What do you mean yours didn't come with one? It's the thingy on the roof.
I mean exactly what I said, it was missing and I didn't even know it was supposed to have one!

Ended up getting a stubby on Amazon for $15.

What about bug/rock reflectors on the front edge of the hood? EGR recommends not taking their Superguard Bug Shield through an automatic car wash. Might just be for liability, but the thought of the possible damage of one getting ripped off in a car wash makes me hesitant to get a deflector. I had one on our old SUV for years with no issues, even taking it through a car wash with brushes.

I wouldn't go thru with one of those that mount under the hood and stick away from the hood, but I'd have no problem with a Husky or AVS that sticks entirely to the hood with 3M tape.
