What's the best stubby antenna for the 2025 Ranger Raptor? Easy to install? I need a few inches to fit it in my garage...

My search skills are not seeming super sharp at the moment:...

thanks!

+1 on the CravenSpeed Stubby. It was one of my first mods, as I too wanted more clearance for my garage door, and after 6 mos I'm well pleased with the reception. Easy install as well.

I also understand the antenna thread is a standard thread so you could put a bolt into it.

unscrew your antenna and go into the hardware store or your bolt bin that everyone has.

I have the craven speed too.

Another CravenSpeed user here. I went with the 4 inch. I like the look better than the real short one. Purchased on Amazon.

The stubbies are for looks and those that don't use the radio. Work okay in and near metro areas but when traveling keep the original to pull in stations from a distance.

Not about looks for me. I needed the clearance for my garage. I don't use the radio so...

Yes, clearance is a good reason. I got mine so there was less chance hitting it with the canoes I carry on top. then I figured out that the original is flexible and there's less chance of it loosening the base if I hit it.

Cravenspeed and have never had an issue with reception using a shorty antenna, on this or on my Gen 2 F150 Raptor

i have never had any issues with reception with a shorty 2" antenna, either. i have had them on 4 or 5 vehicles.

we have stretches here in south texas where you lose phone service but not radio. we also have those sign that say no gas for the next 60 miles and junk like that
