Yeah I miss the ventilated seats all our other have/had. Crazy that Ford doesn't include them even as an option in the Rangers.
And I HATE black leather. Not a huge fan of leather in general... Why don't the auto makers give more color and material options?
For our big road trip I put these in the RR. I like them so much I haven't taken them out yet. Impressive for how cheap they were. The idea was to protect the leather and be cooler in the hot weather.

Got a link from where you got them?

One reason I wanted the XLT, no leather. But, the lariat offered more adjustability to the seat pan which I wanted, so I "settled" on the lariat. Damn shame a lariat doesn't have cooled seats.

what do you mean 'more adjustability'?
My XLT-High has 10-way driver and 8-way passenger electric power and heated seats.
Best part, they are not the fake leather, just cloth.

Hmm, is that standard on XLT's? Pretty sure the one I was considering didn't have that. Maybe you need a specific package to get it.

I learned my lesson back in 2006 to avoid black interiors all together, and i learned again in 2011 that vented seats are king if you live in a hot climate. Its a shame Ford didnt offer either different interior colors or vented seat options in the Ranger. Then again what would you expect since they deleted the rear HVAC vents in the US models to reduce costs increase profits

It was on 301A XLT High package, not the 300A Standard XLT

I live in Texas too. That's the exact reason I didn't go with the Lariat and opted for an XLT, but added aftermarket Katzkin leather seats with their Degreez heating/cooling package.

The seats in my 25 XLT are what Ford refers to as cloth but they're actually heavy duty synthetic fabric. They're black but they don't get hot if exposed to direct sunlight.

And they're very durable stain resistant, etc. I would rather have this type of seat material then leather or faux leather.

Thanks for the reply! Question- are they difficult to install? I bought a pair of seat covers to protect the leather in my Infinity and it was a workout to get them on properly. And that was when I was a youngster in my 60’s. Is installing these a one man operation, or should I enlist the help of every able bodied man on my block?
Thanks again- I like the way they look!
Really easy!
Stick the straps with the round discs through the gap between the back and bottom.
Snap the top straps around the headrest posts.
Pull the bottom straps under the seat front, there's ready to use tabs to hook them to!
Wrap the headrests.
10 minutes.

They still look brand new after our 8600 mile road trip. Wife wants to put them in her car, black leather....

Fixing Ford's Biggest Oversight : Katzkin Ventilated Seats Installed in Ranger Raptor | Ranger6G - 2024+ Ranger & Raptor Forum, News, Owners, Community (6th Gen)

There you go! Not sure if they come in a color other than black leather, but they are cooled. I will probably do those at some point myself.
Katzkins are completely customizable, color, pattern, materials etc.
The leather heated cooled nice pattern etc can cost up to $4000!
Way too much $$$ for my budget....
