I have been experiencing morning cold start stumble/misfire. Just for laughs, I opened the hood to check the coolant (cold) and the reservoir was all the way down past the "min" measurement. Dealer topped it off and told me to "Keep an eye on it."

Please tell me this isn't happening. We went through this exact scenario with the 2.0l in our 17 escape. I can't find anything on the coolant issue on these newer 2.3 liter engines.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

Do an oil change and see how the oil looks and if you have water draining out of the pan. That will tell you pretty quick if you're losing coolant inside the engine vs an external leak somewhere.

No coolant in the oil, however the reservoir level is back down below minimum again.

Smell the exhaust. If it smells sweet, you are burning coolant. You can also buy a coolant test kit to check for combustion gas in the coolant.

No exterior coolant leaks anywhere. The exhaust is a little smokey in the morning. Going to the dealer Monday so they can pressure test. ??‍♂

*Update:
Dealer pressure tested Colling system and said the "EGR Cooler" was cracked. Since when to these little gas motors have an EGR Cooler??

Interestingly enough, when I got the truck home, the EGR cooler is bone dry.
