i was wondering for a while if the 2.3L motor is sleeved.

The 2025 Ford 2.3L MPC motor does not have sleeves. The engine relies on Aluminum coating for protection. A lot of manufactures do this now. This technology may have originated in the motor cycled industry.

Same here, every 5000 miles with Full synthetic Mobil !, and I have my tires rotated and balanced at the same interval.

I just bought a 2025 Ranger XLT FX4 and even though I was aware that manufacturers were recommending oil changes every 10k miles it was shocking to hear the dealership say that. I just had the oil changed at 1,000 miles and can hear the difference in the how smooth the engine runs. I plan on changing the oil every 3 to 5,000 miles depending on how rough the engine sounds to me. That has worked well for me over the years and I don't see that anything has changed enough for me to change what I do. I sure hope no one actually waits 10k miles to change their oil.

I purchased a new 2004 F150 Supercab FX4 with the 5.4 engine that has a bad reputation for various issues that I won't get into here. I kept that truck for one month short of twenty years & purchased my '24 Ranger Raptor, I changed the oil in that 5.4 between 3,000 & 3,500 miles over the course of it's 165,000 miles when I sold it to my friends son who is still driving it. That engine never gave me one issue over the years & I attribute it to changing the oil, this new 3.0 Ecoboost engine with the twin turbo's will get the same 3,000 to 3,500 mile interval oil changes also because of the turbo chargers & the heat that they endure. Oil is the life blood of a engine & it is also very cheap compared to the cost of having to repair or replace engine components. Good luck & enjoy your trucks!!
