Hey guys. I had read before of the previous 5 Gen that some companies made a very easy to install window module kit that allowed you to auto open/close all 4 windows from the driver's seat, and also allowed you to automatically open and close the windows using the key fob.

Does anyone know if this exists for our 6Gs? Would absolutely love this!

Here's an example of one of the Australian 5G kits: https://tracelectronics.com.au/shop/auto-window-module-suits-ford-ranger-px2-px3/

My key fob opens and closes the windows.

Since I apparently never tried opening the rear windows with the driver button, are they not the one push buttons like the front two?

Whoa really? What year and trim do you have? Is it the switchblade key? And are you in the US?

I'm still waiting for my truck to come but I had read only the front 2 windows are auto - my window sticker also says that

Mine is a 24 stx (XL).

It's the base model with the switchblade key, yes.

I know the fronts go down with one touch but since the stickers says the backs don't, I bet they don't.

I could swear all 4 windows on my 2025 XLT are one touch but I'll check tomorrow. In this pic the switches all look the same. I tried the key fob trick a while back and couldn't get it to work, I might have to change a setting in the touchscreen menu or Forscan? I know on my TDI I was able to enable it with OBDeleven. Funny thing though once I enabled it I never used it.

There are no door modules for the rear like the fronts. So there's no one touch on the rear. Depending on the model you may or may not have global windows that allow 4 window control with the key fob. There are no one touch modules that work with this configuration as the previous generation had no door modules at all and could be made to with with the aftermarket modules.

My RR has one touch up and down for the front windows.
Rears are electric but not one touch.
Remote opening and closing with the fob, all 4 or fronts only - is a selectable setting in the center touch screen.

Was it delivered with that function turned on, or is this a FORScan thing? I tried doing button things with my Fob on my 24 STX and no windows

I do not have the FOB all windows down in my truck either, I know it should have it. Can it be enabled without a trip to the dealer? Would the dealer even add it?

It's called Global Opening and Closing, and I have it on my '24 XLT

Switching Global Opening On and Off

  1. From the settings menu, press Vehicle. See Center Display.
  1. Press Windows.
  1. Switch Global Open on or off.

Using Global Opening

  1. Press and release the unlock button on the remote control.
  1. Within one second, press and hold the unlock button on the remote control.
  1. Release the button when the windows start to open.
Press the lock or the unlock button on the remote control to stop global opening.
Note: Global opening will only respond to a press and hold of the unlock button for a short period of time after the unlock button is pressed on the remote control.
Using Global Closing (If Equipped)

Mine came this way. I found out about it with the fob in my pocket and leaning on something. The windows went down on their own. I had to Google to find out the fob controlled it. It happened a few times but now I know how to put the fob in my pocket a certain way.

Thanks all for the replies! Bummer about no auto on the rear windows, but super cool that we may be able to turn on the Global Open/Close. Should get my Ranger in Aug and will check then!

My 24 XLT non-Lariat did not have the FOB all open/close option. I had to Forscan it to enable. Hopefully the newer year models are locked out of this feature because of the trim level.
