I like the way these lights look, I have purchased them and am wondering how you managed to get the connector end through the opening in the grill? The connector on my light set is too large for the opening, any thoughts would be helpful. Who would have thought the most difficult part for is getting light into the slot Thanks

I'm a little late to the party on this topic. But I just installed the F150LED lights to my RR. I agree you can't go in (drill or mount) from the front if you want the OEM look without damaging the grill. The wire connector diameter (and the light itself for that matter) is just too wide. I inserted my lights from the back of the grill. As mentioned, you can take off the grill (seriously, takes only 10 minutes - see the YT videos) but what I'm not seeing done by others is that the actual top strip you mount the lights into can be removed from the grill. I don't have the part number, but I included a picture of the plastic strip. (BTW, the blue tape was a precaution to not scratch the plastic.) It is attached to the actual grill with 6(?) phillips head screws and are simple to remove. Once unscrewed, the strip of plastic, which runs the full width of the grill but is only about 2 inches high, can be easily detatched from the grill. The part is much easier to work with and if you damage it, can easily (and cheaply) be replaced. The sockets for the lights can be reamed out from the back and you never have to modify the grill from the front and risk damaging the look. This process took me about 3 hours, but only because I'm super careful about this type of work. It really is easy. Good luck!

Wow well done here. Huge props. This is exactly the kind of finesse and detail I was looking for before I dove in to see if it was possible. THANK YOU for doing this, paving the way, showing pictures and even having the part number in case things go sideways. Looks great! I’ll be doing this exact same thing this weekend.

Several people on the forum are using them. They weren't designed for the 2024 Ranger Raptor so it's not a perfect fit. The pockets on the grill are tapered so the pockets get thinner towards the back. The light housings are not tapered so the lights don't go in deep enough to fit flush with the pockets, they stick out a little(1st pic). It doesn't look bad but I was determined to make mine flush without hacking up the grill so I tapered the light housings a little on a belt sander (2nd pic).

They still do not fit and are advertised and sold to fit. A lot of money to pay for something you have to modify to make work. They tout the plugs in the ad, and I have seen where people suggest cutting off the plug and use butt connectors.

Curious if the folks recommending cutting off the plug and using butt connectors are people who didn’t want to spend $45 for the plug and play harness. Personally, I was a little pissed. I ordered mine and received them. 2 weeks later I installed them a few days later I got an email about the plug and play harness. I would have liked a note in the box saying “hey, we got this coming soon!” I really didn’t like tapping into those wires, they aren’t very stout.

I ended up cutting the plugs and actually removing black housing around it. It fits and looks good, but sucks to have to mod it.

That answers that question.
They responded to me that they could be made to fit, but did not elaborate on how.
I had assumed it involved some time spent sanding/shaving them with a Dremel but I don't know where the housing starts and at what point I would damage the light.

I 100% agree, I am not wanting to have to custom shape each one if I can help it.
I would much prefer a clean plug and play product.

You can take the black housing off and see the LED in clear plastic. It trimmed that down not using the black housing and they fit perfectly. If you’re looking for plug and play, don’t buy these. If you are willing to do a little work and get an OEM look fit, get these and get to work!

This is exactly what i did too. then i used some atv to hold in place looks totally flush and almost oem-ish.

I did these yesterday as well. I used the marking light connector to power them and it was a PIA to access the wires behind the marker light and the connector supplied didn’t have an intact clip so I had to tie wrap them together. Pretty shitty for the price of that extra harness.

I used a 3/16 bit from the front and a small dremel stone to open up the hole a little bit to fit the harness through. I then cut the overly long harness to fit and very carefully butt connected them together again and sealed everything with telco heat shrink. That connector needs a 1/2 inch hole so no way I was doing that in the grill piece.

It was a pain, took twice as long as it should to install, delivery was slow like horseback, they are overpriced and have to be modified for a quality install, but they look good after all the effort. The fit is well except they just slightly stick out (maybe a 32nd)on the outside of the two outside ones because of the curve in the grill piece.
