My September '24 build spent 4 days at the facility that does the spray-in liner. They also installed the keypad and splash guards. It shipped the day after that. I guess I got lucky.
I prefer the factory spray-in liner and would roll the dice again hoping for a similar outcome.

I do prefer the factory liner, if for no other reason than I do like the Ford script oval in the bulkhead
that only comes with the factory spray in liners.

Every time I poke around to see what's out there for new 6G, I can never find one that has the factory bed liner. I know if I ordered one I could probably get it, but why does it seem so rare on new ones? There's no one near me that does it either.
I guess I was lucky
Mine came with one

I ordered my truck in June and drove it off the lot in early September with the spray in bed liner. My last 5 trucks have had a spray in bed liner. I would have a truck without it. One thing every truck buyer looks at is how beat up the bed is. Spray in bed liners pay for themselves, factory or 3 party.

Totally agree. I don't have to worry about scratching up the bed, I just toss crap in there and go. Had it on my last 2 trucks.

I have the Factory Liner with a Weathercraft mat. I like that the mat comes up a few inches to keep junk from falling underneath. the factory is pretty thick. I have used Linex. You can take it back for touch ups.

I had linex on my last truck 23 years and it held up great. I had a mat on the truck before that 17 years and it did ok but I had some dings and slight rust.

The factory lining looks fine and is I think is a reasonable cost.

I would have no problem having a third party spray in liner

I consider it a must have for a truck bed.

I have a friend who sprayed his entire van exterior with linex. I don't know if I would go that far.....

And no idea the logo was a ford factory spray in addition. Who knew? well not me. borrowed some images....

And don't forget you get that little sticker on the right corner of the back window.

Yeah, a supply issue with the liner added two months to order in early 2025.

Truck was built in February, but didn’t ship in early-May
My truck was a Sunday February 2 2025 build. "quality control release" sunday march 2nd 2025 .shipped and delivered to my dealer april 13th, I was first customer to sit in the seat on april 15th. it was still listed as in transit in the dealer system. lol

but that makes sense the month "in holding" was for the bed liner

Can I ask you guys, what is the texture like on the factory bed liner? Put my order in for a Ranger last week with factory spray in. I plan on using this truck for a lot of firewood moving, but I'll also be cleaning her out and putting luggage and suitcases back there too. Wasn't sure if the bed liner was like 80 grit sand paper and would rip up things like that... maybe I'll grab a factory bed mat

I wouldn't call it "sand paper-y". It is a hard finish (not rubbery) but fairly smooth for sliding. I put a Weathertech liner on top because I don't like things sliding around, and it is easier on the knees

Thanks for replying! I'm on the 3 month wait for the truck so planning ahead and buying things to help me stay patient haha. Maybe I'll wait until it's here to see but appreciate you replying

I have a 2023 Maverick and did the Line-X spray in bedliner and I really liked it. Last week I had those 2' X 2' cement garden stones they sell at the local big box. They are fairly heavy and tried to place them in the bed with as little sliding as possible and there was NO damage. It's been 3 years and I did not haul much but I had 0 issues with the Line-X.
