Howdy. My ford tune on my bronco 2.7 increased my mpg. I’m averaging about 20-21mpg. Up from 17.

Please let us know if you noticed any MPG differences. I know it’s not why you buy a raptor for MPG but anything helps right.
Have read reports that the mpg does improve to something like the numbers you mentioned.

Installed yesterday. Was wtg to have first oil change done too.

Initial thought is more initial take off power. But it's only the 1st day.

I'll give it a few days to adjust and see what I think and whether or not it hurts or improves mpg. Will report back in a week or so.

Just picked up mine with the tune. Drove 35 miles so far all highway. My "personal" experience without a doubt pulls harder. 2 weeks earlier when I picked up the truck on the same highway it definitely wasn't as peppy and the hills were much easier with less throttle. We'll see as it adjusts to the 93 octane I filled up yesterday. Just my 2 cents...

Had mine installed yesterday by a ASE master whose shop is also a Ford Authorized Installer who is also a Ford Authorized Installer or something like that. I had the tool all ready for the final step which is actually when you "install" the tune, gave him 1/3 of what dealer wanted. Haven't gotten to drive much only in town but what I noticed right away was it took the RPMs quite a bit higher before it shifted and the shifts seemed smoother. This is my final mod which also included window tint with sun strip on windshield, spray in liner and Ford bed mat, decals removed, and tailgate letters. Already had the Ford Raptor floor matts and mud flaps. All happy. BTW mine came without a voucher and Ford tech line had me a new one in less than an hour,

Does anyone know of a Ford dealer or ASE mechanic near Boston, MA who will install this?

I really doubt that.

There is not one step of the process that ever asked for any mechanics credentials , or dealer codes.

I was simply saying how simple it is, so that those that get them dealer installed and get quoted crazy prices like $300 for 15 min of work, might know more about whats involved.

If a person is concerned about warranty ever being an issue, by all means have a dealer put it in.

Personally I am not in least bit concerned about ever getting a warranty denied, Because of this tune.
You are very right on what you are saying i recieved mine and it even the the end user know if theres any dought just call ford performance nowhere does ford say you need a tech to do this and that only is letting the buyer know you don’t need no tech with ASE CERTIFICATION to keep your warranty

I sent my invoice to Ford Performance without the ASE certification number on it and this is what they sent me:

For the registration of a Ford Performance Part we require the installed be ASE Certified when installed outside of the dealer network.

See warranty requirements below (Bottom of Page 1)...
https://performanceparts.ford.com/download/PDFS/fpp-warranty.pdf

"...installed by an authorized Ford or Lincoln Dealer, Shelby American, Inc., or an
automotive service technician certified by the Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)."

Can you please verify the installer is ASE certified, and have him provide his ASE Cert# or a photo of his ASE Certificate. We will need that to register your kit for warranty.

A good deal of the misunderstanding appears to be confusion regarding the warranty on the performance parts or kit and the warranty on the vehicle itself.

The Ford Performance Parts Limited Warranty will cover all Ford Performance Parts kit items like the ProCal 4 tool, as well as any warranty issues that may occur with your vehicle that is related to the Ford Performance kit/tune (for 3 years / 36,000 miles from the warranty start date of your vehicle).
