Just be aware that they are not really a run of the mill mechanic shop. They work on and sell high end ford vehicles like Shelbys and GT500s. Though it was a quick and friendly experience; I got the feeling like my tune was an odd ball job that they accommodated on their down time. It was funny seeing my truck getting tuned next to a $200,000+ car.

Again, thank you, they will do the tune this week!

Had my tune installed today. Glad I went to a Ford dealer...after installing the performance tune the truck had a 360-sensor error pop mentioning a rear sensor. They swapped back to the stock tune and the error remained. Calibrating the 360 system resolved it with the stock tune and when they reloaded the performance tune, no error.

I've only driven it 25 miles home. The torque is noticeable and welcomed. The shifting has had some random hard shifts and missed downshifts while learning all over again which according to Ford is expected. Hopefully mine ends up better than stock in the end like I've seen many others mention.

Tune is definitely worth the price.
Daily driving: (normal mode) Shifts smooth, can't feel the shifts anymore. Gas pedal barely has to be pressed now. Before I would have apply more pressure to where it would delay and downshift and finally accelerate, this is no longer an issue. Haven't had a chance to try sport mode as my commute has traffic from start to beginning. Exhaust is tad louder.

I'll try the other modes later. It definitely pushes you into your seat more, but my GF didn't notice a difference, yet. So it definitely isn't a dramatic power increase, but it definitely there. Like others have said, it should have came like this from the factory.

My previous Dragy post was about 2 hours after the install. Install took 30 mins, paid $205 at Ford. Walked next door and had an oil change done for $90. Drove 20 miles to Costco, filled her up, went to my usual spot for the Dragy test. Did a quick run in Baja mode with sport suspension.

Just took mine to a Ford performance shop, $275 was the charge. Also, to correct a couple of things and pose a new question:

1) Asked previously and someone said the tuner had to be installed in the truck, recommended A Pillar. While this might be convenient for flashing to original, etc., according to the guy I have installing it, it is not required (i.e. they can upload the tune and then hold onto the programmer to be used if needed).

2) Another thing he stated was that if I take it in for warranty work, recalls or programming the dealer will most likely install the original tune with updates which would mean I have to re-install the procal tune? Any thoughts/experience on this? Consider the recall that just came out for the driver window saying it will require an "update".
I can answer your second question. IF there is an update to the PCM (engine computer), and the dealership flashes that update it will overwrite the tune. Other modules ie body control, doors, instrument panel, ABS, 4x4 etc should not affect the tune. You can re-install the tune over the new PCM calibration once it is done. Don't think it is necessary for warranty to pay for that install again, as you are still covered under your original install receipt...but that I am not 100% sure about. PCM updates are fairly rare, and usually address a specific problem like erroneous error codes

Just about ready to pull the trigger on a Performance Calibration kit, but have one question, just where is the OBD port on a Ranger Raptor?

Do not go to Phil Long. I did mine at Schomp because they owed me a favor, but if you call them they should know it only takes 30 min to install and quote you a reasonable price (hopefully).

I finally got around to installing mine this afternoon.
It took right at 30min, from opening the package, reading the abbreviated instructions, registering my account, downloaded full instructions, read over those, downloading and updating software, setting up the pro-cal, going out to the truck downloading the stock file, going back to the computer backing up those files, and downloading the performance tune files, going back to the truck and installing the tune. No big deal. 30 min tops and never done it before. I bet I could do it in 15 min if I were doing it again.

At no point did any of that process ever require me to enter any mechanic or dealer credentials.

I am happy with tune. I need to go back through some of my prior settings, I had programmed into the truck to stay in quiet mode near 24/7. Which I seemed to have lost that it was in normal exhaust mode when I was done. No big deal, I imagine I just need to reset the timer settings for quiet mode.
