What is the normal driving mpg like over stock? Obviously not the point of a tune, but a benefit none the less.

I too have just tuned my RR with the ProCal tuner. I just wanted to share some data I got prior to the tune and will update soon with post tune results.

Right. It would be refunded on a pro-rated basis. Buy the tune and invest the rest to cover "future concerns"....

Can I cancel my Ford Protect Contract?
Yes
. For most states if you cancel within 30 days and no services have been rendered you can receive a full refund minus a $75 cancellation fee. After 30 days the refund will be pro-rated by time and mileage. For specific cancellation fees by state please click here. To cancel your plan please see our cancellation page.

Cancel the warranty and get your money back.
Seriously, you need to stop pushing your misinformation agenda. Almost every post you’ve commented regarding the Ford Performance tune is wrong.

As per Ford performance; “The tune doesn’t affect the factory Ford warranty at all.“ 3 years 36 months, 5 year/60K or any extended warranty purchased by the owner thru Ford.

You’re either ignoring post #170 all together or are unable to comprehend what was given by Ford Performance. Either way, you’re attempting to misinform members.🫵🇺🇸

Your factory warranty and extended warranty will be intact with the install of the tune.

Go and read post #170 of the tune thread. It will explain what you need to know directly from Ford Performance. Anyone tells you differently, is providing false and misleading information. 👍🇺🇸

Got my tuner today and installed the tune when I got home tonight… I’ll drive the truck tomorrow and report back when I can. It was super easy and took about 30 minutes from start to finish.

I thought it was mandatory that a dealer installs the tune to keep your warranty intact.

You gotta understand that some of these folks have owned imports in the past where the manufacturer WOULD blackball your entire vehicle from any warranty claims nationwide if tuned. AFAIK Ford has never had a policy like that, and my experience w/my Bronco and the Ford tune has been that there have been no questions asked (I WAS denied a warranty claim because of suspension lift tho). The facts are that every service manager in the Ford universe will try to weasel out of any warranty claim they can. Best to not give them any reasons/ideas...you do know those guys have the internet too right?

What misinformation? It's a fact, that if he cancels his extended warranty, he'll get his money back. How hard is that to comprehend?

I’ve been running modified and tuned vehicles for 20 years and have yet to have a warranty claim denied. I had the transmission blow up on my SHO one time, and Ford still fixed it - and that car was tuned and visibly modified.

So is it possible I could have a claim denied at some point in the future? Sure. But my experience with my dealer is that they want to take care of me…

I drove the truck about 100 miles this morning, but I didn’t get on it yet. I did want to give the transmission a little time to relearn (I already have 10,000 miles on the truck) before romping on it. The throttle mapping and transmission tune seem excellent as well - much better than stock! And the truck clearly has more power, but again, I haven’t really gotten on it yet, so I can’t say how much different it truly feels. Oh, and the exhaust is definitely louder!
