Ok, I know people have been posting about their issues with the front parking sensors, but it’s getting ridiculous for me. Before it was always my front left one and now it’s my front right one. I’ve cleaned them as much as I can but I can’t get them to stop beeping at me, unless I turn them off altogether. I also had a CarPlay bug where I can’t play music from my phone today (I’ve had it before) so combine that with the sensor issue the only sound I hear is high pitch beeps. I wish I could just turn off the front ones cause that where the issue stems from but for god sake @Ford please issue a recall or something.

I've noted that the SSM 53364 states that it affects 2024 models; does anyone here have a 2025 model, and if so, are you experiencing any of these sensor blocked issues?

I'm pretty sure you can turn off just the front parking sensors as I had to do this very thing when I took delivery back in Nov (MY24). My rear still alert me and I still get the occasional front sensor fault even with them turned off.

The sensor is still on back order according to my dealer. ?

I have a 2025 RR and no such issues noted. They seem to work fine.

Wait till the winter comes. Lol

I have the front left sensor issues only when the temp drops below 40f

Yes, we have a reprieve until the cold weather hits again. Had my right front sensor replaced already at end of winter. I’m keeping fingers crossed!

Found this thread. I have this issue on the right side of my new 2024, picked up in July. Been to dealership twice. they say Ford's bulletin says its typically dirt or frost. No dice, I told them, it started before frost. I guess my only choice is to find the district Ford rep and make some noise.
I don't need it to park, but do enjoy the lane centering, which seems not to work when this warning appears.
Anyone have any new news from Ford or a solution?

Anyone solve this problem? Winter is in full force and the sensor issue is annoying. Dealer told me to clean the sensors.

My last 2 vehicles had the sensors in the front and would freeze up and get blocked every winter with ice and snow. I just got used to driving around with the warning lights on. :)
My new Ranger is an XL model so I have no parking sensors and no radar cruise control. Its a much simpler driving experience and I don't feel that I'm missing out on anything. been there/done that:sunglasses:

Yeah I wish there was a delete kit for all these electronics. I don’t use cruise, lane keep assist, any of the driver features on my Raptor. I love how the Raptor performs at the dunes and on trails but hate all the electronics. If Ford would have offered the Raptor without all the junk I would trade this thing in.

Mine has started this winter, hopefully it can be fixed. Do your trucks do it while stopped at a light with the brake on? Or when does it do it if at other times?

It’s frustrating that there are sensors on the truck that don’t work when it’s just barely snowing. Light snow and I get a warning that pre collision anvoidance and lane keeping assist is disabled due to blocked sensors. I know it’s not just Ford, but it would be nice if they could refine the tech better or use other technology that’s out there so it isn’t available just some of the yr. I use it all as I’m mostly lots of daily highway driving, and there are a lot of maniacs and morons on the road.

Yeah I’ve seen it happen when applying brakes at a stop sign. I hear the dings and then Raptor throws error saying front sensors disabled and sometimes the truck says precollison sensors not available. Mainly happens in colder weather and rain. I tried turning down the sensitivity in driver assistance and that didn’t work. Waiting on ford to do an update or issue a recall!

I was wondering if I was the first person to ever want to drive my Ranger in a snowy environment! How did ford engineers not figure this out?!? Was just on a U.P. Ski trip, in a snow storm (great skiing) but my “Smart” truck was DUMBFOUNDED by snow and ice…every time I restated, I had to go thru a pre-launch checklist to disable all the features to quiet the warnings…
