I am planning on replacing my 11 year old full size Chevy pick-up truck for a Ranger Raptor.
I currently have a 2024 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch with the 2.7 L.
It has 330 hp/415 tq. and an axle gear ration of 4.7:1.
The thing is actually quite peppy on the throttle response and the torque stays there on acceleration.
I test drove a new Ranger Raptor, and it felt very sluggish, the throttle response was hesitating when I floored it... the Bronco felt much more responsive and literally felt quicker. The Rapotor made noise like it was trying, but the seat-o-the-pants meter was disappointing.
The Ranger Raptor has more horsepower and torque with the 3.0 L., so I was shocked.
I have no idea what drive mode it was in during my test drive.
Is there a Sport button I should have pushed?
Does it default to Eco-Mode?
My Bronco Badlands does not have a Sport mode option, unlike most of the other Bronco models.
