I recently sent them a message asking about a Ford Performance ARB bumper like the one for the previous generation truck.

"There are plans to manufacture a bumper for the current gen Rangers, not the Raptor trim. I have a very rough ETA of late next year. "

Best regards,
William
somewhat promising. the bumper w/ bull bar would be the main thing i would like to outfit from them. as it stands right now most of the bumpers available to us do not have bull bars. i think i previously found 1 option but they did not look nearly as nice as ARB's does on this truck.

I definitely hope it happens. 🤞

I spoke to a rep of RTR at the Charlotte Autoshow a couple of weeks ago. They had a pretty big area set up with a couple Mustangs, two heavily modified Broncos and a bunch of their aftermarket wheels and parts.

I had just bought my ‘25 Ranger Raptor the week before and had been considering a set of their wheels for the Ranger. I asked him if there were any plans for more products for the Ranger since they are already doing bumpers and rock sliders for the Bronco…. Much of the same story from them too. Not at this point in time but if the Ranger market grows that might be subject to change.

It’s going to boil down to market share or this will always be an issue. It’s a shame too… The Ranger is the best mid-size on the market, but the lack of trims, options and bed/cab configurations are always going to hurt Ford. Give the Ranger the same variety as the F-150 and there will be no reason midsize shoppers will flock to the Tacoma.

As someone who was shopping for Tacomas, some of those trims are so hard to find they might as well not exist.

and you can’t order a Tacoma the way you want

lots are full of sport and off road versions though.

but I have certainly come around to the idea that there should be more variants of the Ranger in Norrh America.

come on how about a 6’ bed?

Ford not being in the midsize game in NA for a while I think has really hurt them.

its going to take some time and effort to build up market share

and honestly I think they could do a better job of getting out in front of some of the issues like drive mode changing randomly

it boggles my mind that large corporations don’t have a presence on forums

where do they think google searches lead customers?

I found the part # for arb dual battery kit, Now Im in canada, and shipping was only 100 bucks canadian for me. but I was able to order the dual battery kit. And it did fit, without any major issues!! I did have to clearance the airbox bracket by like less then 1/2x1/4". I have a thread on it I think. also our trucks are designed for the arb twin bed mount compressor. thats the 8 dimples on the passenger side of the bed. sourcing a seller that will ship to states in one thing for yee.

Idk if there are any forwarding services in canada that could get you the kit and then shipping from canada. to you. but may end up with double carrot man tax charged.
Where does the lower support bracket for that battery tray attach? It it to the hole in the inner fender under the air box near the rubber air box retaining grommets?

As a 5th gen owner (and likely a 6th gen in the distant future) the short availability of the 5th gen 19-23 and low sales numbers hurt the aftermarket. A lot of companies saw stock piling up, then marked down and still not moving and decided to drop the support. Hell, you can buy a new ARB bumper from Ford for the 5th gen for $600 dealer installed and they still have dead stock!

The almost decade long absence from the US market and no push from Ford on the Rangers return didn't help inform the customers either. I was on a work training early this month and someone who was a self-described "Ford person" didn't even know that Ford still made the Ranger!

The better vehicle sadly isn't always the better seller...

Sorry if this is a little off topic, but buyer beware about aftermarket parts being sold as "this fits guaranteed". In reality they're made for 5g Rangers, but some companies still push them as fitting 6g trucks. Case in point, realtruck sells a steelcraft bull bar that "fits" our trucks. It doesn't, at all. Steelcraft's own website says 19-23. Realtruck has yet to change their website.
At least their customer service was good about sending a return label. And I learned to be more diligent about buying stuff for my truck (2024).

Heck even Yakima is sitting out on the new Ranger…. At the launch, the issue with bed rail strength/stability (J-braces required) still hasn’t been cleared to use their Overhaul HD bed rack. “No Fittment” if you select it as an accessory and the rep told me that’s still the case even though the design has been resolved with the bed now strong enough from the factory (no longer requiring J-brace alteration)

I’m not sure what the date was when Ford started shipping them with the revised design?
Note on the Yakima OverHaul HD fit, it's actually not because of the J-brace. The bed rail caps are not strong enough and will collapse under weight. The solution is using a tonneau cover that has t-slot channels. Any tonneau with t-slot comes with brackets that mount in each corner so that the weight doesn't rest on the rail caps.

the j brace reinforces the front corners of the bed.

without it the front corners would buckle.

so even a tonneau cover with t slots would have issues without the jbrace

Yes, for 2024s the J-brace is still an issue regardless. But the Yakima no fit even for 2025s is due to the rail caps.

there are rack systems like American adventure lab that use the stake pockets without a reinforcement

the t track systems likely do stiffen the cap

American Trucks Sells items for the 6G that are for the 5G. They seem to think those years are all in one. Seeing a few parts advertised as 2019 to 2025. Example the
