I actually thought the factory sound system sounds very good...!!!
I have turned the radio on in my Shelby two times in the last 7 years of ownership.... the Ford Philharmonic 32-Valve Flat-Planed Orchestra with Chewbacca gargling on lead vocals is just too glorious of an exhaust note.

Daily driving me neither! First couple months I saw 14-15 mpg!
8600 mile road trip. Filled up 36 times. Worst tank = 15.2 mph. Best tank = 21.4. Trip average was 18.5.
For the amount of fun we had, that is totally ok with me!

Yeah if you take the shortest route... When we planned the trip we figured 6500 miles-ish. Side trips, sight seeing etc rack up miles!
Here's the planning maps, we actually went as far as Pensacola Beach. 22 states, 16 National Parks, 6 Natl Monuments, it was really epic.

Mine does. If you heard it you would agree. The stock BO head unit Amp is good. The speakers garbage. Sound deadening makes a big difference too.

My first post on here... I can relate Dave. I picked up a 2026 Desert Sand last weekend and really like this thing. My wife loves it. I just traded in a '23 F-150 Tremor. My wife never drove that thing. There is so much of a difference between an F-150 and the RR in maneuverability, driving feel, turning circle, power - you name it. The RR is a blast and handles much closer to a sports car than a truck. The Tremor had more room, sure, but it also floated, had nose dive and an unsettled rear that would have taken thousands to remedy - so much difference between a Tremor's crap shocks and a proper off-road bomber like the RR. I had the Coyote in the Tremor - can't argue with V8 sound, but for the EB TT's power and the impressive exhaust note, it's not a bad trade.
I had a '20 GT-350 similar to yours that I loved, but just couldn't justify after about a year. Seeing yours does make me miss it - the engine's 8,250 wail, Recaro seats, MagneRide suspension, etc. were such a fantastic package.
I actually got out of two vehicles - the F-150 and a '19 Jeep Rubicon. We both work remotely and don't really need so many vehicles. The RR is a great combo of a practical truck bed and off-road capability in a smaller vehicle like the Jeep, but with the tremendous addition of the power and suspension of a much sportier package to boot. Looking forward to a few things for the RR - Procal, Diamondback HD, and Redline struts to start. Both the Tremor and the Jeep were black, so the Desert Sand was quite a refreshing change.
I'm looking forward to the forest service roads up in N GA with the RR. I was hesitant to take the Tremor, given that it was black and such a handful in tight confines. The Jeep, although reliable over the years I had it, leaked, had so much wind and road noise and wandered on the highway where it just was a handful to drive and no fun unless you're just going around town. I still have a '99 TJ (4.0/5-speed) that I need to get back on the road, so I haven't fully gotten out of a Jeep. Looking forward to a good drive in the RR this week to start getting more familiar with it.

I can maybe manage 17.5-18mpg when trying my best. Dunno how some are getting 20mpg.

My RR is the ONLY truck my wife actually likes to drive. She told me "it doesn't drive like a truck and that's why I like it", lol. Nice to have a performance off-road vehicle the spouse actually enjoys driving and riding along with me.
We have a 2026 CX-50 with 12k miles on it that just replaced a 2018 CX-9 with 125ks miles (needed something smaller and more fuel efficient now that truck serves as the family trip vehicle) and my 23' Mazda 3 Carbon 2.5L for a daily driver to work (get 37 to 40 mpg from that thing, can't complain, still does 0-60 in about 7 flat, not bad for little NA 4 banger!).
The CX-50 is pretty luxurious and I really enjoy the chassis on that car, although I wish we could have afforded the turbo engine on that one, the 2.5L (same as what's in my 3) does decent, but definitely does not have the punch, it's adequate, but not great for that size of a vehicle.
But despite it being such a nice daily driver, the RR is still our go to for all long trips.
Cargo space (compared to the other two), check.
455 HP / 536 lb-ft of torque, check.
33" off-road tires and fox 2.5 live vales, check.
AWD for on-road bad weather conditions (rain / sleet / snow) and 4WD for off-raod situations I purposely seek out, check.
Air born capability, check.
Commanding seat position, check.
Reasonable interior space for myself, the wife and my 6-year-old son, check.
Reasonably good sound system (although I do think the Bose in our mazdas is better), check.
Can haul my Honda Fourtrax Rubicon in the bed until I can swing a utility trailor, check.
Can haul all my fire arms, ammo and equipment for range days, check.
Can drive it like a big SxS in the dunes, check.
The vehicle I will always choose for the pure love of driving, CHECK!!!
