Anything installed over 88 lbs on bed rails you need the j braces if your truck is missing them

Thanks! That’s what I’ve been looking for. The CSP only mentions the Ford bed cap and only in extreme off road conditions which applies to a minority of Rangers.

I did the EGR, very stout! Easy install 45 minutes no cutting.

Scary part is the first pull on the fender flare and all the snapping! Clips slide back on after you pull them out of the truck.

I was in for a sensor issue and I asked them check it at that time. I think it totally depends on the dealer. I tried to make an appointment at a different dealer and they said they would not do it as a recall unless I bought an aftermarket accessory from them such as a canopy or bed cover. Complete BS…..

same thing they told me!!

Mine did it as a recall, but.. Ford covered the labor for install , I had to pay for the braces. Better than nothing!!! And they are needed.

Missed having the factory installed ones by a month on manufacture date. Tried multiple times to buy the OEM braces (what a joke). Think I'm going to buy the EGR's and be done with it.

I wish! The insurance company has the truck. Its all done and settled. Was lucky enough to pick up a 25 RR as it arrived to the dealership.
