Low Battery Alerts?

I read online that Ford Pass can send you a low battery alert, is this true on the Ranger? Sure would be nice if the app could show SOC.

I don't know about sending notifications, I never enable that sort of stuff on any app or device... But when our Ford's have sat long enough to go into battery saver mode, when I open the Ford app it displays boldly.

Hmmm... Mine has never sent me notices. I don't see a setting in the app for it either.

That I don't know. I've never left a maintainer on it for that long.

Not sure about the Ranger, but my 2020 F350 Tremor is in storage on a maintainer and I get the "Gone to sleep to save power" message in FordPass. Assuming Rangers act similarly.

Yes. It's based on ignition cycles in that given time frame rather than than actual battery charge level.
I find that rather annoying.

Both my Edge and Raptor send notifications when attached to a battery tender.

I've never had a 'low battery' alert in the app, but I did wake up one morning with a message "Low tire pressure", sure enough, nail in rear driver's side.

I’m looking at the Nico genius 10, is that something I can leave plugged in to maintain with the hood just not latched? Mine is always outside unfortunately.

Both my Edge and Raptor send notifications when attached to a battery tender.

Mine recently did sent the alert while attached to a battery tender as well.

I tested the battery, it was fine, I think it was because the truck hadn't been started or driven in a few weeks.

My wifes ranger was sending messages that the battery was low I checked Voltage and it was good. You can reset this warning with Forscan
