This is the reason we bought a 2024 F-150 King Ranch, AND a 2024 Ranger instead of a 2025,
And I waited for the 2025 because I wanted the updated bed support and the electric power brakes, among other things. I did get cheated out of the hood liner though.

they could have deleted the dumb cubby on the back of the center console instead
Agree. It's useless. And the 12V outlet on mine is just above the floor/hump where it's sure to get kicked. Should have put it where the useless cubby is and added USB there. Bronco Sport I had and the Maverick I had both had them.

So Amazon sells carbon fiber rear air conditioning vent cover trim for the 24 and 25. I don't get it.
ROW or Rest of World trucks. this gen ranger is part of ford globalization plan. Basically same model world wide with slight regional differences. I have arb aussie parts on my canadian(Michigan made) ranger.

wow. just wow. what a thing to delete. thats such an easy safe feature to leave in place. they could have deleted the dumb cubby on the back of the center console instead
Oh no! Not the McDonald's cheeseburger cubby! :(

I own 2025 Ranger lariat and there's no air vents behind the center console for the backseat.
Look under the seats. I can't speak to other trim levels but they are there on the RR.

Yeah most of us know about the underseat vents, we are talking about the center console vent that everyone else gets besides the US. We get a useless storage cubby.

Ford does not want the Ranger to rob sales from their cash cow F150. Im afraid they will never really promote of emphasize the Ranger in north America, because of this. I almost wonder if some of the lack of features or their removal is to try to drive consumers to an f150.

Toyota puts tons of effort in their tavomas, but its because they've never been competitive in the full size mkt so they can try to be the best selling midsize truck as its not hurting tundra sales.

Im.hoping Ford will wake up and realize these are really seperate markets and most Ranger buyers would not have bought an f150 to begin with,. And as others enter this market it will grow and they'd better decide now if they are going to be a true player in it or not. Having all your emphasis on f150 is very short sited long term. Many people dont need a full size truck and the maverick isn't the answer for them with it's limited capabilities, and 4 cylinder engines.

Im sure they say for most everyone f150 and for city people the maverick. But many need f150 like capability, but im a smaller more practical size truck. Wake up Ford!!
