Speaking of fuel can, I have spent some time trying to figure out a good "common" fuel cannister that everyone can agree on. I'm not a huge fan of the spouts that we must have on cans now. I spent 8 years in the Marine Corps using the plastic jugs with lids on them. I'm fully qualified to pour fuel. ?
That being said, I would love to hear your feedback. The NATO fuel cans are easy to come by, very cheap, as compared to some of the more popular overlanding cans on the market and are obviously super durable. Scepter, the company that makes them for the military, also makes the same can for water storage. So, building a jug mount around this can would net a fuel can mount and water can mount. One on each side of the bed of the truck, secured to the MOLLE panels would be pretty cool.
We do already make a mount for the Scepter water jugs, but it would not be a great fit for this application. We are working on a new design, specifically for wall-mount applications.

Water - https://a.co/d/bhJClnT
For bonus points, would you choose the 5 gallon jugs or the smaller 2.5 gallon jugs?
