Hey guys, just curious if anyone has messed around with their Ford Performance tuner gauges and specifically taken a look at their oct_adjust in relation to the knkAdder measurements. I’ve got 5747 miles on the odometer right now. I got the performance tune installed about 1000 miles ago at 4731 miles. My assumption with most tunes was that not only would the boost increase(which mine has at approximately 22psi) but there would be changes to things such as the octane adjust and knkAdder. My octane adjust is just sitting at 0. Most forums I read indicate maximum performance would be around -1. Any of you guys have input on what yours says? I would think 0 indicates the truck is still learning however I’ve ran 93 octane for just about every tank since 3000 miles and definitely every tank since the tune was added which again was 1000 miles ago. 2025 Ranger Raptor
Edit 1. Looks like the Oct_Adjust gauge is indicating “Yes-No” I’m assuming based on the number displayed Yes-1, No-0? If so, I’m curious why there is no octane adjustment for mine as it says “0”. I assumed there would be timing advanced at higher octane fuels.
