Offroam MagSafe Phone Mount installed

Installed the Offroam MagSafe Phone Holder on my Raptor this afternoon. I use an Offroam phone mount in my JL Wrangler and it’s very high quality.

For my Raptor I was initially worried it would not fit. They do not list whether it’s designed for the 10 or 12 inch screen. As you can see the lip fits directly between the screen and frame. It’s very tight squeeze but I don’t foresee any issues.

that looks like a great option! and it is a super clean install! any issues with the pressure on the touch screen? looks like it is above the surface that actually has the image on it so i'm guessing no issues.

No pressure at all on the actual screen. There is a gap between the physical screen and the gloss black frame. There is a small lip on the mount that nestles directly in that spot. So all pressure is on the frame. It’s rock solid doesn’t move at all.

Did the same one but with the cradle mount. Super solid and clean. Highly recommended.

Nice! Just ordered one for myself. Thanks for the heads-up. I have been looking for a minimally intrusive ball mount and somehow never saw this one. I also ordered a 20mm to 1” ball socket carbon bar from 67 Designs so that I can use all of my Ram Mount and Peak Design accessories, which all have a 1” ball (vs the 20mm ball on the Offroam mount).

I just ordered the Tackform thats on pre-sale but this looks like a very solid option. I like it a lot

Thanks for the recommendation @VelocityRaptor, this mount is perfect. I purchased the Offroam base mount, but went with another option off Amazon for the arm extension and MagSafe mount. This allowed me to get the phone lower and save a good bit of money. It does not completely clear the vent, about half still open. Not sure I'd want it further left anyways as it starts to get too far behind the steering wheel. I placed the base mount all the way to the left. The graphics in the instructions kind of imply that it is meant to be placed one slot closer to the center, but I think it will be okay.

Paired mine with the 67 Designs 20mm to 1” bar, and the Peak Design phone mount which I love (it’s locking, has built-in vibration reduction, and is easily operated with one hand). Loving this combo!

I'm very interested in the iPad or whatever that is you've mounted on the right. Would you please share what size it is and what mount that is you've used?

It is a bulletpoint mount for an iPad mini which is what’s in the picture. Great for mapping so main screen can be for other things
