Do you know the where to find the funnel used to pour fuel from a gas can into your Ranger.

There is another thread which states the location, but for this poll, do you know where it is right now, before searching for it.

By accident, but the other way around. I found the funnel and had to ask what it was for.

Funny you say that. If you get under the truck and look where the rod extension goes, the guide tube is the same color and similar shape to the fuel filler funnel. They almost could have used the same part for both tasks.

Yeah. It's taped to a larger, angled funnel, and is hanging off a bungee cord in the bed.

I do. And I will never forget. I looked for the d@&m thing for over an hour while getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, backflies, deer and horseflies on the side of a gas station that had just run out of gas and was waiting for the delivery the next day, well over 100 miles from civilisation and way out of cell coverage on a dirt road in Northern Québec, while using every single curse word in French, English and German...

Almost a year after I bought my Ranger, I needed it to add some gas, but it was missing, looked all over for it, had to use another funnel. The local Ford dealer said they could not replace it but the selling dealer, Rodeo Ford 150 mi away, was nice and sent me a replacement.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I have not seen the funnel anywhere in my truck - admittedly I haven't looked very hard. Maybe later today I'll go dig around and report back if I can find it.

I do, and to ensure I never get stuck without one, I purchased a second that I keep in the back with the gas jugs.

Believe it or not, I read about it in the Owner's Manual.

I tried using the Owner's Manual built into the screen, but could not find the location using the search function in there or just browsing the sections. But sounds like it is specified in there somewhere.
