PSA: Bed rail caps on '26 are thinner than '25... Tonneau covers will NOT fit

Just FYI...
I did send yet another email to Leer support concerning the issue of fitting their hf650m onto a 2026. So far no response, odd since I asked questions before and they got back to me within 24 hours.
Now I did ask them if the hf650m would for a 2026 and they responded yes.
I offered them to supply a fix within a month or two, or a full refund.

The Leer hf650m doesn't appear to use any existing holes, more of clamp rail to bed hence my ask.
Posted a pic up above.

The clamps that came with mine use the existing holes in the rails to attach, not the simple clamps. I am hoping to work with Leer to get different clamps or rails as an easy fix

I have not even opened the box yet as easier if I have to return.
I'm going off web site install PDF which shows clamps.

I was at Leer East last June looking at the covers on display. The manager already knew that Ford was making a change to the bed in 2026, but he did not know the details.

Update: Bak told me new hardware won't work, and I need to buy a whole new cover, which they just released for 2026, and they'd be happy to sell it to me...

They said products for 2026 Rangers should end in "352" - so the MX4 for example should be 448352. I don't see it on the site yet.

Truxedo asked for photos, which I sent back this morning.

I apologize for the delay - I am working with our engineering team to get this resolved. They are putting together a new clamp kit that will take care of this issue but they aren't expecting it to be ready until Wednesday of this week. Once they have that all set, I'll get the replacement kit sent out to you and you should be able to install your cover. I'll reach back out with the tracking number once we get this shipped.

Truxedo also replied with a special part number for 2026, which they listed as 1431801. Can't find that one either. They did offer to set up an exchange, though.

The big question is did Ford put a rubber seal under that to prevent water from getting underneath and into the holes on the top of the bed rail sides.

Truxedo said they now have a kit for the Pro X15 that works with 26 Ranger Raptors and are sending me that overnight. We will see if that works.

Just spoke with realtruck. They said theyre aware of the issue but there isn't a fix yet. Could me a month or more. Im looking at sentry ct or bak revolver x2

Appreciate the info! The Ford accessory catalog does list different covers for 2026 models.
