Let me show you what happens when the app isn't working and it turns out the problem is the modem.
The Ford dealership kept telling me the issue was with the FordPass app. After months of back and forth, and with only 5 miles left before my warranty expired, I finally convinced them to properly test the truck. Sure enough, the modem had failed.
They've now had my truck for close to two weeks, and so far, all they've done is tear it apart. They are blaming the delay on Ford after receiving the replacement part. If your FordPass app isn't updating vehicle status, software updates, or remote features, don't let them automatically blame the app. Have them check the modem.
