Heading to Utah in 28 days for the much anticipated RANGER RAPTOR ASSUALT!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!

Can't wait - anyone has attended is welcome to share their experiences and any pointers on what to expect, or bring, would be great.

Already ordered the camera recordings. Also bringing my DJI Osmo 6 for recording the day(s).

Should be a total blast!!!

You’re going to have a blast! Ask questions! they are the ones that would know about jack points for tire replacement, daily driving do’s and dont’s, etc. also, figure out how they drive with both feet, it was beaten out of me at 16 and my brain won’t let me do it anymore.

My nephew and I did it in October of 2024. We had an awesome time. Instructors we’re great and really know their stuff.

in late July, you will want sunscreen and a big water bottle.

You will be glad you ordered the recording option.

Hope you enjoy it half as much as we did!

I went 2 weeks ago and it was awesome. Almost missed the 1 year deadline and so glad I made it. Here are some photos and info from the night before reception. There is a cooler at the reception dinner and they encourage you to take bottled waters back to your hotel. They lay out the plan for the next day which will be about 1 hour in the classroom then the rest of the day driving. Be sure to bring your drivers license to the check in desk at the reception and again the driving day. You will be on some public roads so they want to make sure you have a valid DL. Definitely get the road keeper video that captures in cab audio and video and forward facing video. They will give you the micro sd card at the end of the day with all of the footage. There will be several trucks that the instructors are driving that have coolers stocked with water and soda so you can stay well hydrated throughout the day. Box Lunch also provided. They will pair you up with another driver unless you brough a guest, and you will alternate driving throughout the day getting the same experience whether you drive first or second. Before the class I had not used most of the offroad modes and settings so they will teach you everything you need to know and you will get to use them on the courses. They also have a photographer on the courses that takes pics and they will give you a link at the end of the class to go online and access the pics at no charge. The instructors are professional drivers/racers and are excellent. Each truck is equipped with radios so you will be in regular communication with your instructor. Whether you have experience driving the RR or none at all, you will have a blast.

If you think of it, I'd love to know what they recommend the students do when you stop after a session; let the engine run for a bit, allegedly to let the oil cool down enough so it doesn't cake up in the turbos, or other stuff like that to do when parking after long or spirited driving stints.

Once the camera is on leave it. You don't want to forget to turn it back on and miss a bunch of the action. It's got plenty of space in the sd card.

Definitely worth it. Not sure if it's too late for you, but I opted out of the additional insurance and extra fees...wasn't needed. They don't let you do anything risky enough to warrant any of it.

Great info - I didn't pay anything extra expect for the camera recording. My Marine son is going with me so I even got a 10% discount on his seat, which was cool cuz it's expensive. Glad to be driving with him instead of a random person. Can't wait!!!!

I have a drone, is there anything they will let you do with that if I bring it?? I thought I might be able to get some aerial shots.

Kick back, relax, and enjoy destroying a Raptor not yours 😂.

Depending on how much you've off-roaded your truck will depend on how much you take away from this.

Doing the dirt racing track at the end was my highlight, as well as driving solo 😂. I swear im not anti social.

I was told that the 2026 Raptors are not eligible for the Raptor Assault.
Any truth to this?

During my class they had us leave the trucks running during all of the breaks except when we stopped for lunch.
