Well in the dudes defense the locations he states encountering them is legit and his profile does say active duty and if he is a marine, air force or navy again in line for prime location seeing them in the area out in the South East CA Desert for testing or vehicles hopping the border. His info on the particulars may be incorrect though.

It has never been a secret that a very small number of individuals have been daily-driving rangers since last fall in the USA. These are ford execs/high-level engineers etc that are helping real-world test these cars. They don't own them and the trucks they have are pre-production. Every so often someone finds one out in the wild and posts pics here.

However the people that get these privileges are specifically important ford employees. They aren't "active duty military" nor are they coming to a forum to gloat (or in this case, lie) about getting a ranger before everyone else.

I did call him out. Maybe he did see a truck nobody else saw or gets to see.. my son is active duty and moves around everywhere in California, he’s never seen any… I’ll say it He’s full of shit. Period
