Great... it's so odd because they bother to provide an ETA. Obviously, it's some projection by a system, but you would think they'd know if it was actually pending some software update or otherwise is in a holding pattern. My guess is they are using this status in the absence of planning and communicating real updates. My order was placed 07/17/2023. Sadness.
I'm in the same boat, "In Production" on 03/06/24 with a delivery ETA of 3/31 - 4/6 only to have it come and go with no delivery, and now dealer is only being told "Pending Update". I would think the same system that projected our original delivery week would simply update to a new projected delivery week. The fact that it hasn't makes me think there's either a bigger issue or they simply don't know what they're doing. Frustrating.

Hoping the mole sees my frustration as well...

With my Bronco it didn’t update to built or shipped until it left Rail Yard. So your Ranger and other vehicles could be just waiting on a train. It took 3 weeks for my Bronco to go on train to Denver. Then sat almost a week at yard before it was convoyed.

Been “in production - produced” since 2/6.
Have not been able to get any further info aside from “awaiting update” out of Ford chat or dealer.
Getting pretty annoyed at this point since I ordered on 6/2/23 and people who ordered 6 months after me have already received their trucks…

The dealer still has my Raptor listed, but its says "MSRP $58,740 Final Price" yet I'm paying 5k markup.
I wonder if i can call them on it, false advertising?

they mention multiple times on their site accuracy is not guaranteed. they can charge whatever they want. hopefully they don't pull anymore shenanigans than the 5K mark up. good luck!

Appreciate it. I did put 1k down and have a receipt with it that says $63,740 total.

Your vehicle is a retail order, so I doubt the dealership will pull some shady tactics. Additionally, markups appear to be lower in the South than where I am in the West Coast. I think you’re safe.

Mine was built 2/20 and was stuck on pending update or quality hold for a month before it finally shipped in very late march. It is finally on a railcar within a few hours of its final destination.

Earlier builds were stacked up on lots and put on quality hold. Most later builds were not. They are slowly working backward through the storage lots to release and ship the earlier builds. In general, the earlier the build the longer it sits as I'm sure they are pinned in behind the later held builds. It does appear they are finally making some headway in working through these held trucks.

Patience has definitely been a virtue on this production release, but they are finally getting a rhythm going.

Sometimes being first isn't always best. But if it means our vehicles were scrutinized for quality and come to us in better condition, I'm more okay with the delays.

Guess we will see.
