Just got the Atuomatic update for 25S29

Just updated the BCM for the right or left sun visor and headliner wiring harness

this update completes safety recall 26S29

seams like ti took about 14 min to do..

Does this do something or overwrite the Procal tune, as some other threads have mentioned dealer software updates doing so.

To be honest, I don’t know. But I wouldn’t think so as the procal tune is downloaded to the ECM and the update that we received is for the BCM.

It’s interesting because part of the recall was to check if an error code was present indicating a past short.

and at least in my case, the update by the dealer made my keypad srop functioning and I had to take it back to the dealer to fix.

That’s The Emissions Recall 26E04. Hasn’t been updated on my 24 RR yet. Expect it will overwrite the ProCal Tune. No word on if you can just reinstall it, or if an update is required from Ford Performance.
