The screen on my 2024 XLT doesn't give much of a view and it's distorted. The Ram I traded in for this Ranger had a much better screen view,
The new Ram is supposed to have the best interior of any new truck. The center screen area, looks a lot like our Rangers. So far this is my favorite style interior, I like the integrated looking screens.
- Hey look at that, a drivers side grab handle.

I miss the driver's side grab handle and the backup screen that was not distorted on my Ram. The view on my Ranger backup screen at night gets washed out by the brake lights.

My Ranger is my first vehicle with a backup camera so I don't have a point of reference. So far I'm pretty happy with the camera system and love the screen.
That RAM does have a great interior, on the other hand they seemed to have priced themselves out of the market. :)

I think the giant ipad in the dash looks ridiculous, but that's just the way new vehicles are going.

I wish a supercab + 6ft bed option was available for the non-raptors.

Get rid of the stupid antenna please, somehow.
The dash infotainment is better designed than say new Toyotas that look like a IPad just stuck on after the fact and goes above the dash. At least Ford integrated it pretty well into the dash.

My biggest cons are cosmetic and mostly the lack of effort in the Raptor trim. Instead of using amber DRLs like all the other US Raptors they just used the regular ones they already had designed from international markets. Also I think the tailgate on the Raptor sucks. I would have preferred the F150 Raptor appliqué with the Ford oval logo deleted. Just my two cents. Sync could use some updates to iron out the bugs. Not a huge fan of the leather they used for the Raptor seats. They are like a hard leather and perforation would save my ass from sweating so much. Oh also ventilated seats… come on lol.

Some of you guys will hate me but I bought a Ranger Raptor at 2K markup and hated doing It. The only vehicle I paid over MSRP for in my life. My logic is I’m 75 years old and have been told by numerous dealers if I ordered one at MSRP it would probably take a year to get it. Who knows if I have a year left and there is no guarantee that Ford won’t raise the price that much anyways on the 2025 models. Not counting whatever enjoyment I will get from the truck over the next year, I swallowed hard and took the deal.
nothing to hate about that. Enjoy your truck 👍

I was going to buy another Ram but the same model I bought in 2019 now costs $10K more. Reading many reviews, the Ranger was the best so that's what I bought. I've never owned a Ford, so far I like everything except the backup screen image quality. One more thing is they don't give you an owner's manual book anymore.

I received a satisfaction survey from Ford as recent as 2018 with my new GT350R purchase. I have since bought new a 2022 GT500 and this 24 RR and have not received a satisfaction survey for either. I guess that should speak volumes as to whether Ford gives a "you know what" anymore about customer feedback. Remembering the survey back in 2018, it was basically more about gauging my interest in their EV sector. Which I had and still have ZERO interest in. The fact that owners feel compelled to make a customer feedback thread in the hopes that those on the Ford design team is reading is laughable. Any running changes by Ford on a current production platform will be made out of necessity and not some customer feedback on ranger6g.

I wouldn't have minded a hybrid option, especially if you can use the battery pack to power a campsite, which I don't think you can with the new Tacoma.

I've had my new Ranger a month and thus far have only found 2 shortcomings.

No drivers grab handle on the A pillar, I'm old and short so I need all of the help I can get

No push button to engage the rear dif locker, I drive some on wet pastures and a button on the dash or console would be better than trying to find it on the touch screen.

After a month of ownership, I love the truck for many reasons. I'm beyond happy with my purchase. I love the Rangers appearance, its ride, the 2.7(the 2.3 was no slouch either), the 10 speed and the interior. My complaints are very trivial.

1. 4WD should include auto-4WD. I have an XLT, I'm assuming this is standard on the Lariat?

2. I don't mind a key ignition but I think using a key to start or a push button to start should be universal across all models.

3. Heated seats on the XLT should come with a heated steering wheel.

4. ESS should remain off once it's disabled. Why does lane centering remain disabled but not ESS?

That's all I can think of personally.

@Strommen95 I'm with you on the auto AWD, unfortunately it appears to only be available on the RR.
Also wish they had heated/cooled seats like my F150, cooled seats are really nice in the summer.

If I could have ordered and built a 2025 ranger my way.
Desert sand with black and walnut brown leather seats, XL STX with 5.0, 4x4, black painted wheels with polished lip, no power windows or locks, block heater, heated seats and steering wheel, simple HVAC controls with vents to the back seats, a spot to put in a aftermarket deck in a single or double din configuration......no auto start stop!
