Awesome guide. A few on here have been spewing some bad information on lifts.

Question. I see that in your Forscan tutorial, the ending positions still read 2mm. I believe mine was the same.

Is there any way to force it to 0mm? Also, there is mention of a temperature calibration in Forscan but no one has figured that out.

Thanks, appreciate that. Its a pretty controversial issue so figured it was time to lay it all out. There will always be people who disagree but cant win em all.
yeah its random, some cars get to 0, some dont. We just chalk it up to variance in mass produced vehicles. Not sure if it would be possible to prove that it has a positive or negative affect on live valve.

We are based in Australia. Our spring options are completely different to what is available in the USA. Unfortunately for you guys, in this rare instance, the options are less than in Aus, which is very different to most circumstances regarding accessories and mods.

But regardless, we believe that offering generic "X Y Z combo, use this spring" advice is more unhelpful than helpful. There is so many different combinations of accessories that all have different weights. The proper way is to get your truck sitting with all of the constant weight, then measure sag and determine the appropriate spring rate to return to stock. That way, your getting as close to perfect for YOUR setup as possible.
I'm glad to hear that's what you suggest.

What is your response to this information in relation to your perch collars?

Specifically, with 35” tires and your collars, where does the tire end up at full compression?

Do you have any side pics on level ground? Also, just confirming you did front and back spacers, correct?

our collars dont change anything with full cycle of the suspension. So the truck will still bottom out at the same spot. The only thing the collars do is add preload to the spring so it will sit taller but nothing is changed in full cycle and positions of cycle.

We have customers that do and some that dont recalibrate. I dont think its mandatory but I would suggest to do it if you can.

"We made our own perch collars, made our own strut spacers in varying thicknesses from 1in lift all the way up to 3in lift. 3in lift was too much for the CVs and ball joints, so we only sell up to a 2in/32mm thick spacer.

1in lift = 16mm thick
1.5in lift = 24mm thick
2in lift = 32mm thick

3in lift = 40mm thick"


So does your 32mm spacer also raise the rear by 2"?

All spacers we sell are interchangeable front to rear and provide the same amount of lift on either end.
