I had State Farm for probably 20 years, but got keistered a couple times and finally had enough. They used to be fantastic, but then it turned into a penny squeezing game with some flat-out lying with two different agents.Auto Owners. They have our vehicles, our house, and our exec. umbrella policy. My agent is an independent and this is one of his go-to's. I have had 2 homeowner claims with them and they were great to work with. Also had 1 auto accident claim and 3 windshields now and all went very well.
I use a broker today and Auto Owners is where we are at now. Had them for 2025 and just cut the checks for the annual premiums on some of the vehicles and the house for 2026. Thankfully haven't had to file any claims, but it's easy enough to use with great pricing relative to others. I am saving an insane percentage relative to State Farm with even better coverages in some respect.
I also have Hagerty for some other things.
