Those braces are rock magnets! They are probably the only thing I really dislike about my truck. I don't plan to lift but I am going to go to a 255/75R17 tire that will net me a half inch increase.

The transmission plate doesn’t cover the braces completely but covers enough to take most the blows. We’ll see…

I grabbed a set of these frame plugs too, but not sure I'm the biggest fan. They fit well, but the softness of the silicone rubber makes them feel like they're going to pop out easily. I can remove them by brushing my pinky against the edge... I've lost bed rail post caps which fit much tighter than these in a wind storm before. (We get hurricane force winds here every so often).

I'm exchanging them for these, which are supposed to be EPDM rubber https://a.co/d/0fvQJDvP and were only $2 more. Hopefully they'll be a tighter fit. Will report back.

Got the swing away hitch for my fishing rod/cooler rack. Test fit went really well. Was able to mount the rod racks inside the cooler rack which leaves just enough room for the cooler.

Installed a cover on the fuel filler neck. Perfect fit. Totally unnecessary but it bugged me.

@John E Davies wrote a review on the amazon cap and said it should have a lanyard and there is a handy hole for one to attach on the door so I made one with a lanyard

I'm thinking blue now....

Who makes that CNC'd arm? Is that a tackform mount? I can't locate it on their website if so. Thanks. Looks like a great setup!

Installed Diamondback SE cover. I cant say enough good things about it. Really great build quality. Can tow up to 600lbs on top.

Curios watched an install video that showed the bed caps need to come off and shims installed, prior to or rather part of the install process.

I only ask, because the shop doing my Matte PPF wrap has them off now and asked me if I wanted to leave them off for shop doing my Diamondback installation after the wrap is done.

If they don’t need to come off then the wrap guys can go ahead and put by he bed caps back on.

That wrap looking nice! I did not take my bed caps off. Not required unless you want to weather proof it more...there was a post about it yesterday..the weatherproofing that is.

Very similar besides some parts look different (for the better). I just remebered you bought the 270 version so not sure if that process is different.
