You think dealerships care about false advertising? They just put a disclaimer at the bottom of every listing that says "the vehicle is subject to availability and the price is probably bullshit."

There's a couple of dealers near me that have had Ranger Raptors listed on their website since June.

Usually this is just their ERP system reporting things upstream in the system before they come into stock. There were some Raptors in December listed at a dealer in Texas that didn't actually exist.

Could always just call them and ask though if anyone is that curious.

Every day a car sits on a dealers lot is interest that they have to pay on the vehicle. Why wouldn't they have a customer lined up to buy it as soon as it arrives or even pre-sell it before that? Every dealership posts vehicles that are available, whether they are on the lot or not. It is in no way "false advertising", but I wouldn't expect the cry babies on this forum to understand that.

It works the same way everywhere, I work for Mercedes, all of our cars at Baltimore port or on a ship from Europe show as in stock at dealership.

Heck mine came out just a bit under $60k but that with FX4 package and a few other options and yes I am in Canada so it's probably only $43k in the US.

You can get a fully loaded 2024 Colorado Z71 for a lower price than that, and that's including a Sunroof, Ventilated Seats and Rear Vents (all things missing on the 2024 Ranger Lariat).

In fact, the OTD price (including taxes, title, fees etc.) for the aforementioned Colorado would also be around $52K.
