That's why destination charges for something 10 miles away from the plant are the same as to your dealer or the person getting delivery in Hawaii. No fun to have to wait even longer, but maybe you will get surprised, and it will arrive early.
Sounds like UPS deliveries around me, they ship to hub near and then ends up three states away needing to return to same hub.I got some more information from my dealer today. It looks like my truck did indeed ship by convoy, not rail, to Portland. It took five days to get there, and on the fourth day, it passed within a few hundred feet of my dealership (which is right next to the interstate) and continued driving eight hours to the northwest. Now, it sits in Portland with an ETA of sometime in May.
What the #@#% Ford?!... With the way things are going, they'll probably drive it back to Michigan.
Mine has made it all the way to the railhead here in CO and still doesn't say shipped. Lol that tracker is pretty inaccurate. I did sit in order confirmed, but never hit shipped status. Hopefully it comes soon. I am currently battling my dealer on mark up as other dealers around are cheaper, but at his rate I don't think I am going to avoid it here in Denver and it sucks.2nd day in final prep status, but not at dealer, yet. Mine did the same thing. It was on the train and they kept adjusting the ETA to the right. Then the day before it got delivered to the dealer, it moved back to the left. Who really knows!My truck landed at its final rail yard early Monday morning and was hopeful for it getting delivered to the dealership later this week in time to pick it up this Saturday.
My tracker info for ETA a few days ago was showing something similar and now has pushed its ETA pushed out even further. Pretty much now showing mostly an early May window. Crazy.
Same!!! My dealer just got a 24 Lariat... and yet my RR sits in Ramp 59 cryo-stasis lol. Like I said earlier, I have zero issue waiting for the truck, I only wish the info we receive throughout the process was accurate. Although we probably shouldn't complain, this isn't the Bronco launch after allMy dealer has received two ranger Lariats ordered after my Raptor while mine sits at the rail yard for a convoy to pick it up. One showed up just today, instead of mine, from the same railyard.

That makes sense then why the only ones not showing up are the first couple thousand off the line. They caught a production issue and had to deal with it before they ship out. I am just very curious to know what it was.
My ordered truck was built the 2nd week of January and arrived at the dealer on March 28th. So some of the initial batches did ship and fairly quickly at that (relative to the date Rangers started to actually ship).
