I think you meant SuperDuty Ranger, not SuperCrew?I SAW AN A YOUTUBE CHANNEL THE SUPER CREW IS NOT COMING TO AMERICA - IT SAID FORD DOSNāT WANT TO COMPETE WITH ITS SUPER DUTY
This Ford dealer in Aumsville, OR, seems to have the most detailed info I've seen. Updates include:
Hybrid really intrigues me, particularly with the tiny fuel tank, but sounds far from certain on if/when would come to US.
- Sync 5
- More soft touch interior on XL, XLT
- Co-Pilot360 2.5 ("updates in detection range and lane-keeping assistance")
- Potential hybrid at some later date in 2026 (I'm assuming may be the Euro PHEV
- Recalibrated suspension
- Updated grille on higher trims
Smart move I read that Ford will be raising prices across all lines 1% to 1.5% for 2026 due to tariffs. The 2025 has the 2.3L MPC motor. I ordered one.
I waited for a Super Cab, ain't going to happen like the long bed.
These trucks are expensive, cannot afford a Tremor or Hybrid.
I do not think there is a long wait to have a 2025 built.
Mid cycle revamp possibly 2027
North American Ford Ranger On Track For Refresh In 2027
Ford has a tendency to remove equipment as the generation progresses.
You pay more for add on's that were on it before. An example is the Conveniency Package. I did not see that before. They removed the 12V bed plug. Now you pay for 110V plug, bed lights and phone charger.
But I was told we wouldnāt be paying for these tariffs.Smart move I read that Ford will be raising prices across all lines 1% to 1.5% for 2026 due to tariffs.
I suspect the Ranger will continue to look more and more like a baby F-150 as opposed to a Maverick. Ford has also been pretty clear, a hybrid Ranger IS NOT coming to North America, if we want a hybrid truck we will either need to buy a Maverick or an F-150 - that is directly from Ford. After having my '25 XLT for a few months I would -
- Sync 5 - Probably a good idea, technology marches on.
- More soft touch interior on XL, XLT - My '25 XLT trim doesn't bother me in this regard, but alright.
- Co-Pilot360 2.5 ("updates in detection range and lane-keeping assistance") - Ok I guess.
- Potential hybrid at some later date in 2026 (I'm assuming may be the Euro PHEV - A hybrid for fuel economy might be big for some (see Maverick)
- Recalibrated suspension - Interesting, though my suspension seems fine, no complaints there. Perhaps for a Tremor.
- Updated grille on higher trims - wouldn't surprise me that the Ranger would start to look like the Maverick in this regard.
- Improve the braking power.
- Push Button Start on XLT
- Offer better OEM Tires
We have all been told that by he who will be un-namedBut I was told we wouldnāt be paying for these tariffs.
