If anyone knows why, I’m curious.

My order has said week of 11 Aug production, but it hasn’t updated since 6 Aug. I called the dealer today and my sales guy looked it up and his system says 28 Sep.

At some point, would they brand my order an ‘26 model? Haha

My XLT order has been "In Production" since July 15th. From what my dealer has told me, it's been built for awhile now and just waiting on final inspection before it can get shipped.

There's a handful of others who haven't had any moment either.

My only thought as of now is it could be the brake recall that's holding all of ours back (even though the initial report showed Rangers built up to June 20th).

No. Your order was scheduled and given a 2025 vin. It will be built as a 2025 or in rare occasions not built. 2025 production will continue into probably December before switching over to 2026 model year production.

Being in production and being produced are different. Ford will give an order the status of "in production" when the order is being prepped for production. That happens 10-14 days before the day is actually produced. Then it will stay in that status until it is cleared to ship. It will then get the status "in transit".

I looked up the window sticker using the address +VIN. There is no link on the Ford order look up page. Anyway, as it relates to my first post, the Blend date was 8/14 and it was number 239 of 277 of the daily production run.
So, why the disconnect between the delayed date the dealer is showing? Thoughts?

277 seems like an awfully low daily production number. Thoughts?

30 * 277 = 8310 Per month, sounds about right.

the last figure I saw was for April and it was just a little more than 7,000 that month

is that RRs only? Then that makes sense. If it was Rangers total that would seem really low. I thought I heard on the Thai production line (YouTube video)they were producing one every 3 min or something like that.

North America all rangers.

workdwide is a different number as the ranger is built in several countries.

but I imagine you are really interested in the production from the plant you ordered from.

Honestly? Because dealers are incompetent and don't care. They'll just tell you something to get off the phone with you.

Call Ford Customer Service directly.

My built on June 17th Ranger didn't receive a recall notice for the brake recall. The wife's F 150 built in May did however.

I just got an email from Ford support that the Ranger has moved into "released to carrier"(!) as of today.

It went into production on July 15th then went on a Quality assurance hold on July 22nd.
