Interesting the last tremor model came with Fox shocks or the new trimmer model seems to be coming with Bilstein shocks. Either way it’s great to see that the Tremor pkg is returning. to the US market. Can’t wait to see all the details on it.

I am really curious how it ends up positioned price wise compared to the Lariat and the Raptor given such a small difference in MSRPs of those two.

Here is a few more pics of the 6th Gen Tremor from other markets.
‘Very sharp looking trucks.

Well this is honestly a pretty unexpected development. I really didn’t think Ford was going to do anything like this with the Ranger. Now I’m very curious what the actual specs will be. I had pretty much decided on buying a Lariat later this year and upgrading the tires and suspension myself. Decisions decisions….

In the meantime here’s a nice video on the Tremor from down under:

Go figure, less than a year of me buying my ‘25 RR. The Tremor with the 2.7l 6 cylinder is what I wanted to replace my 2002 F-150 with from the start!!! Argh!!!

I guess I’ll trade my low mileage ‘25 RR in 3 years and go with a refreshed Tremor then. Who knows, maybe by then Ford will come to their senses and offer a longbed version like Toyota has been doing all along.

I can see the Ranger Raptor get a significant price increase to distance itself from the rest of the lineup. I already feel like it is underpriced compared to its competition.

Hopefully the US version has all the toys that the AUS version has. Liking the aux switches and LED lights.

You think a $60k midsize truck is underpriced? My goodness...

GM is cheaper. Jeep is cheaper. Nissan is cheaper.. if we're looking at top trim levels.

I like the black OEM wheel spoke pattern more than any of the other OEM wheels on the Tremor. It should be a good work / trail truck option in the ranger for those wanting more utilitarian uses than what the RR can offer, but I have ZERO plans to trade in my RR.

455 hp / 536 lb-ft, I can jump it several feet in the air, I can still tow a respectible 5,500 lbs and it's fully loaded. Also, I do not expect the off-road capability of the RT to exceed the RR stock vs. stock, probably pretty close but I'd imagine the RR will have the edge given it's a flagship model still.

And the Watts link, I LOVE the watts handling dynamics, the rear end is so predictable for performance driving compared to a panhard bar. But I definitely see the 2.7L Ranger Tremor a very viable option at a lower cost if you don't want / need the Baja / Rally / Muscle Truck finesse of the Raptor.

Have you actually looked at the prices of the other vehicles in their top trims? Nissan is the only truck in the 40's low 50's. Top tiers of the Jeep's are in the HIGH 60's! So is the Colorado ZR2 Bison. The RR IS the top trim of the Ranger and is 55k~59k.

It offers far more powertrain performance than any other option out there in the mid-sized segment, it's literally the only production truck I know of right now with a factory Watts link coil spring rear end (all the rest use pan hard bars), the Live Valve shocks outperform any other factory option on the market right now and towing is comparable to the other off-road trims.

It's also one of the few mid-sized trucks with 4A, which is very nice for on-road use in inclement weather. Drive a truck without 4A and you'll see how many "normal everyday situations" where you always compromised.

All the top off-road trims drop towing considerably compared to the "work truck" configurations due to stability limitations with the larger tires / softer off-road suspension setups, so that's just par for the course with specialty trucks (ZR2 Bison is also only 5,500 lbs, Jeep Gladiator Rubicon is 4500lbs, Taco's manage 6,000).
