Howdy everyone, I’m currently at 30,800mi on my 2024 RR. I do not have the tune, installed an S&B CAI at approx 26K miles. Need to take it in due to the following concerns:
Turbo spool up is higher pitched whistle than it was (occurred before installing CAI)
Engine “pulsates” at idle when hot (200F oil temp) (began about 30,000mi)
Coolant level cold or hot is below min level at reservoir on passenger side and after I turn off engine I hear the rushing fluid sound I assume is pressure equalizing but no idea.
Free water leaking from passenger side muffler just forward of spare tire.
nearby dealership (Houston, TX) is not great - they couldn’t install tune- sent me this photo),
and not a good experience (when I went in for a recall some tech sends me a 5 sec video of my truck with the hood open saying that they’ve checked everything they need to check without showing me the recall fix or a battery tester or a dipstick check, nada)
so should I reinstall the stock airbox before I take it in? Or does anyone know of a dealership within 100 miles of Houston that won’t care about the CAI and does good work?
