Looks great both sign1941 and kickingaz

looks like it should have come stock that way and I want to try it myself. But I have to ask, and I know its a biased question, but how does it ride on the road?

Part of the reason I chose the RR over the BR is I hated the way the BR rode on pavement, it felt so disconnected and jiggly, like the body was going to fall off the frame at any moment. The RR drives 90% like a regular sedan on the road, I am only made aware that I am in a body on frame truck when I hit severe road imperfections.
I feel it rides almost as tight as it does with 285s.. like 95%. I think it will depend on you choice of tire. Funny thing is my gas mileage actually improved on the highway.

Interesting about the MPG. It is likely an error in the calculation, did you re-adjust your road speed for larger tires through Forscan?

I'm not quite on the 35" tire train YET, still on stock 33" KO3's, but I'm getting more and more tempted to go to 285/75R17's as an intermediate step, then finally once it's paid off go to a 35x11.5 setup and turn the truck into a dedicated off roader.

Right now, it does double duty as a utility vehicle and travel companion for numerous family outings, so I don't want to risk powertrain reliability and tank my fuel mileage as I do a lot of highway cruising, plus, on-road, the Pro Cal + 25.2lb Method 705's on stock tires makes for very "zesty" ride!

Truck looks good. I’m going with 295x70s on mine. Even with a 2.5 front end lift a true 35 is going to rub if flexed hard.

@PCDan1, I used the FordRangerLifts.com 2"/1" Kit from Robby Woolworth, put on AMP 12.50x35 R/T Tires (a true 34.8"), and wheeled this in Silverton for a week. I never had a rub and didn't do any trimming. I replaced the stock crash bars with the ReadyLift Anti Intrusion bars, and even added the Splash Guards and no rubbing on the fenders, body, or splash guards. Granted, we didn't do anything like Pritchett Canyon in Moab, but it was flexed on some of the trails on occasion. I was pleasantly surprised. Robby Woolworth is a decades long off-road racer and really knows about these vehicles, he will also take the time to talk to you if you call him, very refreshing in the age of AI.

Hey guys - I am doing the fordrangerlifts 2:1 spacer install as soon as the parts arrive. Did you do the install yourselves? Robert from rangerlifts sent me some written instructions but I was hoping for a good youtube video to go off of....not much luck. Any pointers anyone can give me from your experience?

I am going with the Bronco Sasquatch wheels that have a better offset and purchased the 35x12.50x17 BFG K03s from Costco...definitely the most expensive tire replacement but I wanted to stick with the BFGs. My 2025 RR only has 2800 miles on it so I am selling the stock Bead-Lock wheels and 33 K03s as well.

Did anyone need to remove the crashbars?

Any tips for the spacer install is appreciated.

It's probably going to rub full lock reverse. Maybe off roading at full articulation. Crash should go to avoid it.

So I had a local shop that has done a lot of Jeep work, but only a few Broncos, and he was going to do the install but backed out. I ended up driving to Vegas and having Robby install the lift for me so I knew it was done right. I did the same 2:1 lift you are discussing. Can't say enough good things about Robby at fordrangerlifts and his background and experience. If you call him, he will be more than happy to talk to you.

I used the Method 703 Beadgrip wheels with a +35 offset, and AMP R/T 35x12.50R17 tires. They are a little more aggressive for the off-roading I do which is a lot of rock here in AZ. I did remove the crashers and replaced them with the ReadyLIFT Anti-Intrusion Bars (69-2900). I think it came out pretty good, and I have no rubbing on-road or off-road.

Looks great!!

I believe the Sasquatch wheels have a +30 offset so I am hoping it turns out right.

Where did you get the new bars and were they expensive? I will try and give Robert a call. I'm in Northern CA so it would be a drive to get to Las Vegas - lol. I'm pretty much a DIY on almost everything so I believe it won't be too much of a job, just wanted any heads up on what to look out for....I assume I will need a front end alignment after the job is done?

The ReadyLIFT bars are available on amazon and eBay, I got mine on amazon for $138.85. I am a do-it-yourself guy too, actually have a lift in my garage, but the suspension on these is different than the Jeeps I have had for decades. Definitely need a front end alignment when it is done, but honestly I didn't notice much misalignment on the drive from Robby's to the alignment shop in Vegas. I know some of the suspension nuts have red lock tight on them so the tip is to heat them before you remove them so you don't strip the nuts. Other than that, I had everything done on this install.

Thanks for the info. I did see about the loctite and planned on using a heat gun to break those loose. Hope it goes somewhat smoothly. I'll post some photos next week when done. Peace!!

Hey, another question for you - I am buying some aftermarket TPMS for each wheel since I am replacing the wheels and tires and NOT disassembling my stock ones (trying to sell the set). Did you do the same? Any experience with aftermarket TPMS? Do they work? The ones I am getting claim they work on both 315MHz and 433MHz - I was told from Ford that mine are the 433MHz. I am hoping they just work and sync up - thoughts??

I used aftermarket ones, but Discount Tire was unable to program them for me. I believe mine were TMAX, but I just need to get to someone with their programmer.

I ordered this to adjust the ride height and wheel circumference settings - hoping this will work to program the TPMS? Not familiar with that at all but I guess I'll figure it out.
